Hi, we’ve used the bottle cleaner regularly since Nov 2024. I have always used purified water from a 5 gallon container you buy from a local grocery store. I refill mine from our local water dispenser center Would the device still need to be cleaned as often? I haven’t seen much or any limescale build up..
@DadLifePGH17 күн бұрын
@@Es_TuMadre95 sounds like you’re using great water so I would expect less timescale build up as you mentioned. The vinegar in the wash cycle really just addresses any limescale buildup so if you don’t have any, then you should be good. I would maybe just replace the air filter when it’s time.
@ButteredFlied26 күн бұрын
Hi! Thanks again for an informative video! Would using boiled tap water do anything to help slow down the limescale buildup? Or is it better to use Brita filtered water? I might be too lazy to do either, and might just end up using straight tap water 😂 but just wondering which is better for avoiding buildup. Thanks!
@DadLifePGH26 күн бұрын
@@ButteredFlied hi! Neither method will slow down the timescale build up because they don’t remove calcium or magnesium in the water which are the main contributors to timescale buildup. Boiling water will sterilize the water by killing bacteria and viruses. The Brita filter will not kill any bacteria or viruses but it will partially remove some heavy metals like lead or mercury. It will also remove some chlorine and improve the taste/smell of water. So, both are equally as effective with respect to avoiding limescale build up. Since the machine has a sterlization mode, maybe the Brita filter or just regular tap water should be fine?
@ButteredFlied26 күн бұрын
@ got it! Come to think of it, I’m not using any special water when I wash bottles by hand lol. so I guess just tap water will be fine as long as I descale with vinegar as needed. Thanks!

Hi Brian! I've been researching this product and watched all your videos on it. Thank you so much for sharing all the information, it's been so helpful! I just subscribed to your channel :) I have a question and hoping you could help me. I currently hand wash my wearable pump after each use about 8 times a day. I would like to use the bottle washer to do this instead, but skip the sterilization. Does it have simply a "wash+dry" setting where I could skip the sterilization? And if so, how long is that cycle? Thanks so much for any insight!

I have been using my washer everyday all day since August and I just got an error saying no water yet the tank is full and the washer had already ingested about 1/3 of the tank. I unplugged it, made sure nothing was blocking the tank nob at the bottom and tried adding vinegar to it yet I am still getting this error. Any thoughts?

ll right, I fixed it! When they say take apart all parts they really mean it. I unscrewed the metal plate took out the little filter top that looks like what would be in a dishwasher then there’s a second filter in there and took off the middle arm by unscrewing it. when looking in there, there was a little bit of white buildup. You wouldn’t think that would make a difference, but it did. I’m now running a cleaning cycle with vinegar and water and will do it again one more time so if anyone else has this issue, make sure you actually take all the pieces apart, including the ones that are screwed in. I also highly suggest a water distiller, especially if you live in an area with hard water. I’ve been using one for about a month and it’s crazy the amount of mineral deposits that are in our water. I hope the maintenance on my momcozy bottle Washer will not have to happen as frequently. From this experience I’ve learned about the maintenance aspect of the bottle washer as that was not disclosed in any advertisement, hard to find on their website and I didn’t see it in the manual. Thanks @dadlife for your great videos!!

@@kaygonzalez1458 That’s ok! Nothing wrong with tap water.
