Used to sell airheads. BIG margins. Could sell them cheap and still make money. I'd buy a box each week with my mom and then sell them. The orange ones never sold, so I'd sell them at a discount, but still made money on them. I just needed to get rid of them. Then I started upgrading and sold chocolate as well. I lived in Florida, but never dealt with melted candy somehow. Sold the hell out of Snickers. Also sold Reese Cups and some Hershey's. That was the extent I sold. Eventually started getting some competition, but it was never a problem. I was more popular, so naturally people would gravitate to me, which was cool.

I live in Dallas too and i ended up selling for 3 years in high school, from sophomore year to senior year. For the first 2 years it was a struggle and i really only sold to the people of my grade so i would only make like maybe $75 profit every week. Bro but in senior year sales really started ramping up, everyone in the school knew who i was, i had people from every grade buying from me, middle school, high school and even some of the teachers would buy from me! half way through the year i started making $90 gross every day which was $450 dollars a week before subtracting product costs. I ended up calculating it and i was probably making $200-250 profit every week. You wouldnt believe me if i told you i sold literally everything; sodas $1 each, chips $1, candy $1, chocolate $1, honey buns $1, I even started taking like 30 brownies to school for $1 each and sold out every day! Most of the time I would completely sell out of everything i had brought for the day, and I was bringing over 90 items each for $1. My best sellers were the hot chips you talked about from Sams (back when they had munchies), soda (sprite, orange fanta, coke), and brownies(supreme chocolate chunk from walmart). Other than that I sold sour punch straws, air heads extremes, skittles(all flavors), starbursts(original and tropical), kit kats, reeses, Hersheys(reg and almond), snickers, 3 musketeers, milkyways, twix, and honeybuns. I guess what really got me known was that I had the cheapest prices out of anyone else who tried competing with me. Everything I ever sold was always sold for $1, no more, no less. Whenever i would go to sams i would only buy things I could make profit on with selling it for $1; for example, the skittles variety pack was $20 and it came with 32 items, selling each for $1 would give you roughly $12 profit per box, and id usually sell out of an entire box in 2-3 days. So if anyone wants to start selling chips and candy at school, do it! Start off with a box of hot chips from sams or costco, they cost $13 and come with 30 bags of chips, thats $17 profit per box. Keep selling chips till you have enough money to branch out into other products and trust me you'll start rolling in the dough. Just don't GET CAUGHT!

From my experience, it gets better. Once more people begin to realize that you have stuff to sell, more people make sure rocker cash with them at school lol even at times their friends want something, they'll have someone else buy for them

For anybody watching this in the uk, what I can recommend is going to shops like heron or home bargains. They’ve always got multipacks of things like mints, chewing gum, and crisps. All of those sell really well. Trebor XXX mints were my go to. Could buy a 4 pack for less than £1 and sell each roll for 50p. You could often sell the 4 pack within 2 classes. If you want to take it next level I know a lot of people would sell cigarettes for minimum 50p each, these days you could probably get £1 each. Or sell those disposable vape pens. I don’t recommend selling either of those though because you will definitely get in serious trouble if you’re caught.

I’d sell gum in middle school! At the dollar store you could get a bag with 4 packs of gum for $1, then I’d sell each of the packs for $1. I was making BANK! I also had a classmate who would sell me a big bag of candy, like 20+ candy bars every week and since I’d buy the whole bag she’d sell them to me for like 50¢ a bar, and I’d turn around and sell each bar for $1. It was a fantastic venture!
