I keep hearing conflicting info on Pinterest affiliate marketing mainly Pinterest not allowing this etc.

They do, but Amazon doesn't allow direct affiliate links on pins. And Pinterest wants you to pin multiple things, not only affiliate links. I hope this clears it up 🙌🏻
