Did you guys ever experienced the following: Taking an incident or event on which you had a wordplay on. Your friends laugh and after a while your wordplay becomes in use and you hear it back from a friend with whom you were not at that incident or event...?? It happened to me a few times. Before the internet, or SM it would take a longer time before you hear it coming back to you as if the wordplay didn't came from you. Over the decades this returns to you much quicker, since off course those wordplays might be showing up in SM.

If you noticed a sub boost the first time you said gentlemen’s agreement, it was done much better the first time (although even the first time, you continued to explain it too much). Most people don’t subscribe because all the calls to action are super annoying and long-winded and repeating things everyone already knows. The gentleman’s agreement was an original twist, but you can’t explain it too much or claim anyone is in debt to you or it gets annoying again. Most people know subscriptions are useless, and they reserve them as a reward for when a channel does something next level. Love the videos, you guys are awesome

Started listening to the pod this summer and working my way through the older episodes(currently up to #86). Have you all ever talked about Zoom Media/GymTV? I listen when I’m at the gym and noticed they had this GymTV constantly on the TV’s so it got me wondering about the company behind it. Couldn’t find much revenue info, but they say they’re the preferred tv network of 5,000 gyms. Would be interesting to see what their deal is.

@@MyFirstMillionPod It’s awesome! So many cool ideas and stories along the way. Every few episodes I end up adding a new idea I’m interested in to my idea list. It’s also kind of crazy to hear how Covid was unfolding at the time through the podcast and all the unknowns. I think where I’m at now was roughly April/May of 2020, so still in the beginning of everything. When a new episode comes out I’ll listen to that, then get back to the older ones, so it’s interesting to know that certain things have happened (i.e. Hubspot acquiring The Hustle) while listening to older episodes. Great stuff!
