well they are real materials so i guess it would look real, if something is copied and you have the original to use with dimensions and measurements. so they are real shoes, the name jordan nike is just a company name on a shoe , these guys should make a limited line of shoes with there branding. they already have the stuff to do it so why not? nike iaint paying them , this is like a free ad for nike.

God knows if I had the skill, ability and access to equipment I would never buy another sneaker again. Lol. I would be making AJ1's religiously. Making my own colorways and all. The only part that sucks is you have to get a doner pair for the bottoms but give it 5-10 years and this will be 3d printed at home. Lol. Great work. Awesome craftsmanship.

When you heat the thread with a lighter it sometimes causes a black or dark brown discoloration. I hated it especially when using white or light color material. I did find using a soldering iron works well and allows you to set the temp and apply the heat only to the thread. Just a tip for anyone out there that also hates it.

Personally I'm not big on the whole sneaker head, hype beast, shoe lifestyle stuff. For me shoes are just something to cover and protect my footsies. However... I can very much appreciate the extremely high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and just down right hard tedious work that you guys put into making those shoes! That was some seriously impressive stuff! I also liked how knowledgeable you guys were about all the little aspects and details of each part, the history of how the originals were made, and just the whole process in general. It was very interesting and informative to watch. You guys done an incredible job and it is something you should most definitely be proud of.

That tip about the tupperware heel counters is gold. I had a pair of sneakers where the heel counters disintegrated into many small pieces over time, every time I took them off I'd shake a handful pieces out as the thin inner lining had worn out at the heel also. I replaced them with plastic from an empty bleach bottle. With the extra plastic I also made some half insoles for the heel area, to go under and support the cushioning insoles, as the heel support was also a bit worn out.

These aren’t reps… they are significantly higher quality than the regular ones. They’re handmade with veg tan leather the regular ones are the lowest quality leather you can get with a thick plastic coating on top. Comparing these to reps couldn’t be further from the truth
