Also, the step at 4:03 where you tell people to merge both layers, that just makes the text bigger for me and then it doesn't fit in the frame anymore and I have no way of resizing it to fit. I need my picture to be 800 by 800 and doing this does not fit the picture. It becomes larger than the borders... Wtf man...

Wow, 1st might I say thanks for the help.. the video and instructions are a bit fast paced and no explanations or ts but it got the job done so thumbs up.... only issue I had was at the point of selecting the text layer with command on the Mac, but in pS you must hover over the layer image not just the layer which took me a minute to figure out if this helps anyone else.... my photo came out looking astonishing... Thanks again!!!!

Background changing is very simple just select quick selection tool and select the background and then click on delete button. Then select background on new layer.
