Great video very well explained!! Just wondering if the 178" of fabric is per each tube..and is this before braiding? and for a standard 140" long crib? Is there a way to calculate if the crib is not standard size?
@lyndabowman3343 Жыл бұрын
What is the answer to this question
@farodiydecor Жыл бұрын
So you will measure the crib and multiply it by 1.5. As an example for 3 meters your each tube should be 4.5 meters

Hello. I recently purchased two of these types of bumpers for my 1-year-old daughter's crib. I purchased them because my daughter has the tendency to knock her head into the vertical bars around the crib. It will cause her to wake up crying clearly from being in pain. I hated having to watch her go through that. So, I thought to myself, "There has to be a common sense/practical solution to this problem. What about some type of buffer, like padding?" As soon as I received the bumpers, my wife went all Google happy to show me how and why crib bumpers are said to be unsafe, according to the "experts" and various statistics. It seems everyone is an "expert" in today's world. Based solely on your experience, how did the bumper you made for your baby work out? What are the pros and cons? Is there any reason why you may regret using the bumper? If you were to have another baby, would you ever use the bumper again? Is there anything to suggest that your bumper was ever in any way, shape, or form dangerous for your baby? Did your baby suffer any signs of suffocation, strangulation, and/or use the bumper to stand on in order to try climbing out of the crib? These were the dangers that my wife found on Google and that, according to statistics, can happen to a baby if bumpers are in the crib. I'm not looking for you to persuade me one way versus the other. I'm just interested in knowing what your experience was. Thank you.

That is totally true. It is unsafe in most cribs and most situations. Specially for unattended new born up-to 6 months in my opinion. This was made for my 1 year old. He is now almost 4 and loves this in his toddler bed as well. He uses this this for his toys during the day as well.

@farodiydecor Okay, thank you. Fortunately, we haven't noticed any dangerous issues when our daughter is sleeping with the bumper. No suffocating, no strangling, nothing at all, and it's still in her crib. It also took care of the problem with her bumping her head. She is 17 months now and is doing great.

It really depends how fill you want it to be. But I think I used 2 or 2.5 queen pillows

According to all newborn guides these kind of things are actually very dangerous for the baby. They can pose suffocation, strangulation and choking hazards. Please research this before doing it!!
@farodiydecor3 жыл бұрын
Hi dear. I totally agree with you. That is the exact reason why parents are guided to remove any soft stuff from the crib while a newborn is sleep. Crib bumpers are for the kids who are able to roll a-lot and might hurt themselves by bumping to the sides.
