You chose the right project for the 18650,cells. I can't afford 800bucks,for an ebike,but I already have a trolling motor, and some foam and gorrila glue so a fishing kayak is right in my budget

Thank you for the great videos Since I’ve been watching your videos over the last year I’ve built 6 batteries and 3 ebikes This summer I built a trolling battery I used it for many hours and never had to recharge it with the old lead acid battery I would get a couple of hours and it would die I even used the trolling battery to power my 12 volt. Winch and as a booster battery I recycle battery packs for cells and I have found that if I test the batteries on a liitokala charger they show that the cells are about 500mah stronger than my b6 hobby charger shows, can you possibly explain the big difference?

I still have not found a KZbin video on these 18650 cell builds that explain the all important “what cell to connect to what cell” slowly enough for me to get the grasp. I had some problems with a pack catching fire because I soldered in-between cells on the positive side and the Nickle melted through the plastic holder and the sleeve for the battery causing a short, this can probably mostly be blamed on my horrible soldering iron and thin as heck holders but since then I make sure to apply heat directly on top of the cell, at least on the positive side.
