Is it ok for it to be cold water? I like my coffee when its cold so is it ok?

Yup, it's definitely ok to use cold water to dissolve the coffee powder. For the milk though, cold milk doesn't get as stiff when you froth it, so if you're doing 3D latte art, it's a bit more difficult to get the shape you want. For drinking purposes, though, yes you can use cold water. :-) Hope this helps
