I love your video… I have been in the business for 35 years and in watching your video it is the most real video I have seen out of all these other people who show people how to do these organic garlands/arches… Even if you have been off from doing this for one year… It is real to show the exhaustion… And when people ask youAbout the price this video shows exactly why we charge the way we charge… Thank you for being real… BARBARA’S EVENTS by design

Wow! I really do appreciate your comment. That's exactly what I want to show because doing this business isn't easy at all and I was just tired of everyone acting as if they didn't have bad days. Having bad days is totally normal and I want to normalize this on my channel. Thank you for your kind words and recognizing what I bring to YT. It truly means the world, Barbara!

You're amazing. Do you use command hooks for anchors or tape?

Use rubberbands thats the new thing now or 260's when adding add on's balloons
@JustineJordanCreative3 жыл бұрын
I feel like 260 balloons don’t give a “tight” look. But I’ve never tried the rubber bands. Might have to give this a shot

What size balloons you use and how many you put together
@JustineJordanCreative2 жыл бұрын
I don’t count how many balloons I use. I only count the number of bags I need for each garland (5”, 11” and 17” for every colors. Gemar balloons sell 100 count for 5”, 50 count for 11” and 25 count for 17”. I bought 1 of each color and size for this video and it was more than enough. Let me know if this helps.

You said you stopped for a year and a half... were you just doing coaching videos? I think this exercise demonstrates that a balloon artist, like any artist has to continue to practice to stay capable.
@JustineJordanCreative3 жыл бұрын
Yup! That’s exactly it. You have to keep creating in order to be successful. I’ve done a few garlands for family but I wanted to focus on coaching.

@JustineJordanCreative2 жыл бұрын
Hi Juanita - have you discovered why they all oxidized or would you be interested in a video on the topic?
@dulcehernandez85492 жыл бұрын
It was too hard to tight the necks because you over inflated the balloons 🎈. This technique works when your balloons are really round and you leave plenty of the neck to tight it to the ones in the garland ☺️
