For the front you go in by 1 cm and for the back you don't have to go in, you just start there as you make your curve

Thank you for the very easy to follow basic bodice. I have done the pattern the next day after watching your vdo 😊 then I transferred it on the cloth. It s very nice but I think I will increase my waist line a few more cm cos it s abit too exact to my size 😅. Anyway, will it be any dress or blouse that I can use this pattern to apply on? Actually I did extended sleeves by using your pattern and it looks not bad ( not sure how many cm should I extend it). Thanks again and look forward to some simple or basic dress for novice like me ❤

Hi there, thank you for the feedback 🤗 I hope you did not forget to add seam allowance when cutting your pattern out on the fabric...I usually make my patterns with no seam allowance then add it on the fabric. I used this bodice pattern on all the dresses that I made after making it, you can check some dresses out to see how I use it and manipulate it to fit the style of the dress. You will also see how I slightly extend my sleeves in some dresses.

Hey there, I don't really take the neck measurement, I just make a basic neckline as shown in this video...if the neckline is too high I take it down by a few centimetres.
