for anyone wondering how to solve the "attempted to compare number >= string" on the line that says "if PunchCombo.Value >= #script.PunchAnimationCycle:GetChildren() then" you wanna put a tonumber on "PunchCombo.Value" so like "if tonumber(PunchCombo.Value) >= #script.PunchAnimationCycle:GetChildren() then" also replace "#script.PunchAnimationCycle:GetChildren()" with 4 so you get "if tonumber(PunchCombo.Value) >= 4 then" replace 4 with how many m1s you have (5, 6, 7, etc.)

I love the tutorial, it's very basic. Everything in this tutorial worked besides the blocking animation. It works fine whenever I play the fighting animations by clicking as well as the damage. If I try to move mid punch or after a full punching cycle it defaults to the blocking animation and wont go back unless I reset; even when i move it wont go back to walking or idling. Also, the F button doesn't work. If anyone could help or add advice it'd be appreciated but yeah!

Idk if you will see this but you should probly use the Classic Battlegrounds UI, that being 'TopbarPlus v3'. Just saying, because is the most common instead of a frame.

hi im getting a error, my character punches all te first 5 punchs but then i get this message: "6 is not a valid member of Folder "ServerScriptService.ServerAttackHandler.PunchAnimationCycle" somehow is trying to get a 6 animation but i only have 5. i had 4 anim befor but i got the same error trying to get 5 animations after the first cycle of 5 punches, my char just dont punch anymore, can you help?

Had this problem myself but managed to fix it, you might have done ">" sign instead of a ">=" sign in if PunchCombo.Value >= #script.PunchAnimationCycle:GetChildren() then

It sounds like your problem is that PunchCombo's value isn't getting reset back to 1 when it goes past 5. Try checking that part of the code

NVM i fixed it please fix your code it is helpful but at the line where it says : [{( v: Clone.Parent = Players )}] it souldnt be "Players" because it the the big folder but "Player" because then it talks about the players that are categorised inside this big folder "Players" = Big Folder under Workspace Player = Inside the big folder "Players"

I FIXED MY PROBLEM ON MAKING THE PUNCHING ANIMATIONS WORK!!!!! all i did was put the code from click attacks from a normal script to a local script! idk if that was everyone's problem tho but i was double checking my code for an hour an then i realized i did the wrong script type
