You can say that is truly a hand made item. Beautifully done!!!

Nicely done. Camera angles were great. We could see easily what you were doing.

thanks for the great tutorial. I think I might try sewing the beads onto the top of the tassel, seems like it might be less of a hassle than using the glue.

thank you for a great instructional. would love to see a video using contrasting thread and as it is extremely difficult to see specific stitches and steps with black thread on black material with black beads. white material, black thread and red or orange would make steps and stiches easier to see.

You're right, this video really could have used some contrasting thread. I'll add this to our list of videos we're considering redoing. We've learned a lot about shooting our tutorials since this one came out in 2012 and it's worth revisiting.

Hello, thanks for your tutorial. I have a question: the delicas or beads turn around the circle, what I can do? May I put a thin layer of transparent glue? Grazie

We recommend E6000 or GS Hypo Cement adhesive. Here is a link: beadaholique.com/collections/adhesives

Fantastic tutorial! Thank you! I'm just a little lost when you get to your second line so do you put it to the right then cross the left and then start beating

I know this is a old video, but I was amazed. I have medical issues and shake pretty bad these days, I can't cross stitch anymore which I loved. Anyway, do you have a Etsy shop where a person could buy one? I'd like a pretty purple one to go on my happy planner and a clear on on my purse. Let me know please, I truly think these are awesome sauce. TY4S, Whisper Pat

This seems like such a hassle... why not a flat peyote beaded strip that has fringe coming from the inside, then roll it up, zip up the edges and then weave through your work to the top of the cap and work a peyote decrease to close it up?

ok, super old vid but is there a specific reason for using grosgrain? I don't have any of that in my stash but I have tons of satin. Thanks!
@beadaholique3 жыл бұрын
Super old video, so we haven't done this in awhile, but my sense is satin ribbon should work fine. Grosgrain is a good choice because it's sturdy; it's going to be more resistant to accidental shredding and a little easier to stitch into, and the lines can be helpful for keeping your stitching straight so the fringe is spaced evenly. But I think any solid 3/8ths inch ribbon would make a decent substitute.

I really like this method for beaded tassels. I'm just wondering, how do you get the strands to hang straight? I use a very soft thread and make sure not to pull it too tautly, but the strands of beads still don't hang straight and softly.
@beadaholique6 жыл бұрын
It may be the thread you are using is too soft. Fireline is somewhat stiff.
@MichellesHandmadeCreations6 жыл бұрын
OK, thanks. Since I don't have Fireline, I'll try the Wildfire I have on hand instead of the CLon I used before.
