My old "How to Make a Good Warrior Cats OC" video is over a year old and I don't agree with most of the things I said in that video. It's definitely about time that I gave you all a more reasonable and useful tutorial.

Prefixes are given to newborns. Meaning they are not about the cats personality, they are either about the pelt, what the parents ate for breakfast or the parents emotions at the time.

True, but it's also a story. Meaning that names can hold symbolism. I'm sure that in the Warriors universe, there can be names that are both symbolic and would make sense for a cat to be named that. Like this: 1) Prefix is given to newborn that represents fur color 2) Cat grows up and becomes a warrior, medicine cat, etc. By this point he has had some character development and known traits. 3) The suffix (the second half of his name) could modify it so that it becomes a symbolic name, and not just a physical description. Example: Fireheart from the original series. As Firepaw, his name just represents his appearance. but as Fireheart, it could mean that he is brave, or strong, or determined, or spirited. Note: You may have to re-design your cat's appearance if you have a really great name but it doesn't quite fit.

While that is true, I believe some of the mums waited to name their kits about a half-moon or so after they were born. But honestly, with super/spirit cats cannon, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that the mums just have a second sense that just knows how the kits will be/turn out xD

When I first wrote Pineclaw, she was just a basic villain character. But when I asked why she would kill two cats, I found myself really liking her. And now she's a main P.O.V character in my story. Oops. (P.S: It would be cool for you to do a series where you take OCs and tell the creators how to make them better. It would be similar to OC battle, but it would be more focused on critisim rather than the battle aspect.)

I decided to change my oc's name from Sunfoot, to Suncloud. Suncloud has always had a burning desire to be a medicine cat, even when he was a kit, but has to overcome many obstacles, or 'clouds' in his way. His sister, (who I am working on a name for) had teased Suncloud for not being a warrior, because she wanted to be the medicine cat. She wanted to make Suncloud as jealous of her, as she was of him. Suncloud's mentor, eventually became old, but refused to retire. (I need to make a name for the mentor too) She was treating a scratch on some cat's ear, Suncloud was beside her helping. The mentor ran out of cobwebs, but instead of asking Suncloud to get some more, she ran for them, and tripped over Suncloud. Her head banged into a wall, knocking down a bunch of herbs from the storage. She had died, too old and weak to recover. Suncloud healed the patient, thinking about his mentor's death the whole time. He blamed himself for her death. News spread around the Clan, and Suncloud's sister wanted to talk to him. Instead of saying something mean, she told Suncloud the truth behind why she had always bullied him. Suncloud hesitated, but forgave his sister. It took many moons of grieving, but eventually, Suncloud had accepted his mentor's death, and lived the rest of his life as his Clan's medicine cat, eventually taking on an apprentice of his own. That will be in the backstory of Suncloud's apprentice, when I make it. Later, I decided to make Suncloud's sister named Blackshine. I chose Blackshine, because she seems mean on the outside, but within, she is a good cat, with hopes and dreams like everyone else. I decided on the name Deerfall for Suncloud's mentor, because Deerfall keeps going, even if it is a mouse-brained choice, until her inevitable fall. I chose Sunfoot at first, because of his yellow paws, but this video pushed me into changing his from a physical meaning, to more of a personality meaning. In my story, I tried to make Suncloud represent the sun, and his obstacles represent clouds. Our real sun has clouds that try to block it, and make sure it doesn't shine, but the sun pushes through the clouds, like Suncloud pushes through his obstacles. I hope you enjoyed reading all this, and please reply some constructive criticism if you would like.

If it seems better than yours, figure out what about your story you aren't satisfied with. Looking at other stories that you think are better might give you ideas on how to improve. "Who cares" isn't necessarily the right question. More like "Should I care?" No, you shouldn't (you shouldn't feel upset about the story seeming better), but yes you should (you should let it inspire you to improve your story).

When I first wrote Terrainstep & Lizardscale, I tried way too hard to make my backstories emotional & memorable, added up to 3 deaths per character (Lizardscale had, like, 5), & tried to stick to a realistic style. After watching this video, I took the time to rethink my characters & my new character Silverspots using the advice you gave me, & it REALLY paid off in the end. Lizardscale (original backstory): Betrayed by her douchebag father, 'motivated' to become a queen after her mother's death, & fell in love with the douchebag leader's son only to have him die 'tragically' & leave behind his little brother. Lizardscale (new backstory): Had an absent father most of her life, motivated to become a queen after growing up with a shortage of queens, & risked her life protecting the douchebag leader's son & comforted his pregnant mate after he died, as well as helping out with her kits. Terrainstep (original backstory): Grew up with an insane mother, ended up killing her to 'save the clans', & became a BloodClan member & left to fall in love a tom we have no idea about. Terrainstep (new backstory): Grew up with a neglectful mother, almost died saving her brother from a monster, & bravely rejected the temptation of joining a gang of vicious rogues to become deputy. Silverspots: Grew up with a warrior code oriented brother, risked his life everyday just so he could be with the medicine cat apprentice he loved, & learned that blocking romance during medicine cat training is important after the death of his love's mentor. What do you think? Have I improved?

I liked it but the “shortage” seemed a bit copy cat like and unrealistic maybe I think the first reason was better her mother died (basically take old mother thing and add the new father thing)and her fathers absence made Lisardscale motivated to become a great parent and a caring individual to all others

My character is Aquatail and, firstly, she was just irrelevant to me. My friend asked me to make a character to his Power of Three rip-off and I was like "sure", so I made her for this reason. I ended up putting too much thought to her personality, she was first just a basic tsundere but then became a girl who "is overly confident and overprotective towards those she cares about but, for caring so much about them and their hapiness, she ends up being pushy and coming off as selfish. She has discipline issues and hates authority, but those who don't know her see her as a control freak". I made a P.O.V for her and, as I added more depth and tried to make her more consistent (thinking what she would thing and doing what she would do according to personality) and she ended up questioning Clan values. The forbidden romance related to her internal conflicts (as she asked herself why was she prohibited to love who she wanted to love) and she ended up hating the Clans and running away with her mate and other cats to make their own Clan. It started as a rip-off of Heathertail which I planned to put no effort into, but in the end I had to research so much to build her opinions and ideas. I researched American, French and Russian Revolutions to see what motivated each one and which one was more like the situation she was living in, what has gone right and wrong in each, which values each one of the revolutionaries defended... in the end I turned from socialist to libertarian just by writting a Warriors fanfiction

My favorite OC: Snowfall was the first FrostClan medicine cat, she had her family split up after the clan were created from what remained of BloodClan. She is young and naive and has no clue what she's doing. One night, she recieves the prophecy "one of the two who will come into the world today will have the power to destroy the clans." Her sister wakes her up to tell her that Brindle, a queen, is kitting. she has two kits, and Snowfall quickly realizes that one of them will destroy the clans. A few moons of panic pass, until the two adventurous kits try to go out hunting to help the clans in the coming leaf-bare. Snowfall finds them, but too late one has been taken by a hawk. The heartbroken queen returns to camp with her other kit, Lionkit. Snowfall uses some bad tasting leaves to trick him and his mother into thinking he has weak lungs and can't become a warrior. Lionpaw is her apprentice when he meets Owlpaw. She belongs to StoneClan as a medicine cat. they uncover the truth about Snowfall and plot to run away together. Brindle hides that she has green-cough so that she can die to join her dead son. Lionpaw runs away after his mother's death. Snowfall wants to go after them but a handsome rogue name Scamper shows up. she stays in camp with him, and he joins the clan. Lionpaw comes back after Owlpaw is injured. He and Snowfall go to StoneClan to ask for some herbs, but Owlpaw's mentor has died. she starts coming every few days to FrostClan for training. Scamper flirts with Snowfall. then her sister reveals that she is having kits with him. Snowfall acuses him of betraying the clan (which wasn't true) and he attempts to kill her so she won't tell anyone. Lionpaw comes through and saves her, killing Scamper. Snowfall tells him the truth and offers to let him be a warrior. He declines the ofeer and chooses him clan over his relationship with Owlpaw. He becomes Lionleaf. Snowfall finds out that Lionpaw's dead brother was giding Scamper from a dream. he was the one who could destroy the clans. Her sisters kits, and they all become strong warriors.

Some of my favorite names I've made so far have been Owlsight, Sandstep, Nightrose, and Spidershade. Owlsight was originally named Crowkit because his parents thought of him as Crowfood. He was then adopted by Thunderclan and was renamed Owlkit due to his wide eyes that resemble owl's eyes. Sight refers to his amazing observation skills. Sandstep was named for his sand colored fur, but the step suffix comes from his awful limp he developed after a training incident. He wears this with pride. Nightrose was named technically for being born at night, and rose was because of her beauty, but it also has a deeper meaning, as night can hold many secrets, and roses have thorns. Spidershade was named for his skinny legs which his mom thought looked like spider legs. Shade comes from his habit of hiding in the shadows. His name is also a meaningful name as spiders weave intricate webs to hunt and, well, his habit of sneaking around isn't very promising.

This really helped me out a lot! I have a book series I'm working on and a super edition I've just finished! My main characters for my super edition Drippingstar's Path are, Drippingstone: a medium grey she-cat with a white underbelly and green eyes and a torn left ear Bristlefur: her mate, a white tom with one blue eye and one brown eye, half of tail missing Hawkstar: dark brown tabby tom with a cream underbelly As the deputy of her Clan, FinchClan, it's the end of Green-leaf, and a queen has just had kits, a quarter moon later a fox is spotted and her mate saves her, also driving the fox away, they report this at the gathering that night, and the rest if the clans share there news, (SwampClan and TreeClan) That night, when the clans were leaving, a badger is smelt coming from the Treeclan border, they check it out and Drippingstone's brother, Badgerjaw (muscular b/w tuxedo with a white stripe on his face) Saves a shecat from the badger, whilst driving it off there territory, Badgerjaw also feels a connection between him and the shecat (pinetail) A half moon later she gets a vision and is visited by a StarClan cat telling her, 'A dark time is coming, you must be courageous and brave for the time ahead' as a hawk flew by in the stars, She wakes up and figures that the 'hawk in the stars' mean something about Hawkstar, A quarter moon later, Drippingstone is expecting kits and frost is settling in on the clans Ravenstep (her friend, a all black tom with yellow eyes) has been taking over the dutys for her, A snow storm arose that night covering the forest in a blanket of snow, Hawkstar wants to visit StarClan to get wisdom for what to do, but gets lost in the snow, they wait till the next day but he hasn't returned so a patrol led by Drippingstone set out to find him, after searching they find him but just then, Drippingstone goes into labor and has three kits, naming one after Hawkstar as they were to late and he froze to death right after, They go back home and now, Drippingstar receives her 9 lives from StarClan, She choses Ravenstep to be deputy and it leaves of there. I always struggle with using 'common' events/scenarios like forbidden romances, permanent injury, deaths et.c. Anyone have any tips for constructing meaningful stories while avoiding stereotypical plots?

I think it's not necessary to avoid the tropes completely. Here I have some ideas for you, using the example trope of forbidden romance: 1) Look at it from the perspective of a different character than usual(like someone who doesn't care and thinks it has nothing to do with them, until somehow it causes a problem that affects them anyway) 2)Turn the typical situation on its head (like maybe the love interest from another Clan #2 is at the center of their own love triangle, and chooses the other cat, and the cat from Clan #1 is upset. But it really makes you think: the main character isn't the only cat whose choices affect the story.) 3)The trope can be something to move the story along, and not be central. (How about 2 side characters, Thunder clan cat A and River clan cat B, have forbidden love. Your protagonists in Riverclan can talk to cat B for info on what's up with Thunderclan, because she has a connection. But because it's forbidden, they have to do it in secret, and it adds this whole little secret-agent-y scene instead of like a soap-opera scene.)

He hated his life tho he had his sister turtle who loved hers.when he told her he was going into the wild (no pun intended) she warned him about the wild cats but he ignored her. Soon when he was in the woods he met a snake clan cat named tiny petal She had to take him back to her clan and they let him live. And soon let him choose a role in the clan to train as, he picked med. cat. He picked it cause he didn’t enjoy the life of a warrior, and cause he had begun having feelings for tiny petal. ONE YEAR LATER (He’s 3 years old now btw) Soon he was old enough to have an app. (Seal-paw) Then he ran out of almost everything in the med. den. So He went out collecting herbs with tiny petal and his app. Seal-paw.but heard a scream (or yowl) of terror and thought it was familiar. So he told them to stay there and then he rushed over to where he thought it was and to his fear it was his sister!!He dived in without a second thought.grabed her scruff and tried to swim over to the shore but had lost strength and drowned.

cats dont know what the ocean is, they just call it the sundrown-place, so oceantail's name would be sundrown-place-tail, also, does your character live in a forest? if so, then sealpaw's name has to be changed, because there are no seals in the forest, only mice, squirrels, rabbits, foxes, badgers, etc.

I always make a character first, use that design to build a reasoning. Then once i got a story i grab my other ocs and fit those into the story to make it make sense. For example: i have an oc named tidalwave that as a kit used to be very brave, one day he convinced his sister to sneak out with him in the night to cross the roaringpath (thunderpath). They cross it and he gets hit by a car, but before it can fully run over him his sister grabbed him so it only ran over his legs. He wakes up and his sister is angry with him, and so is his mother, shes pissed af because his name is related to a phrophecy and she thinks he broke it. His sister is a mommys gal so she takes the moms side. He reluctantly becomes a medicine cat The mom starts to emotionally and physically abuse him, and his sister stands by not doing anything, which breaks him more. He falls in love with the other medicine cat and they become secret mates. She accidentally becomes pregnant and tidalwaves mom finds out and says that after the gathering she will kill them both as punishment When they arrive his mom immediately tacked him to the ground and they reluctantly fight. Tidalwave strikes her eyes and she becomes unbalanced. She tries to jump at him but he puts his claws up and accidentally slits her throat. He is sad that his mother is dead because he thinks its his fault. They go back across the thunderpath but his mate freezes on the road and goes into labor. The rush of adrenaline allows him to use his back legs to jump and push her out of the way of a moving car, but he gets struck. He bleeds out on the other clans territory and gives his mate a phrophecy then dies. Im missing a hella of a ton details and this is a crappy short version but thats just the important parts.

My OC, Graypine/star, was born in ShadowClan. Her camp was attacked by wolves when she was 3 moons old, and she managed to drag herself over to WindClan. They took her in, and eventually Graypine became leader. Most of my OCs have just the right amount of realistic and unrealistic.

My personal favorite OC backstory from my OC Lilybloom. She was born blind alongside her brothers Ivykit and Dragonflykit to a (neglectful) ThunderClan mother and RiverClan father. When she was two moons old her and her brothers went to the RiverClan boarder with their mom to talk to their dad and in a horrible accident, Dragonflykit ends up drowning in the river. Their father sees this as a sign that they shouldn’t have been born and should never be allowed in RiverClan, and their mother blames the accident on Lilykit and spends all her energy on Ivykit, while also heavily lobbying to the leader that they should send Lilykit to the elders den instead of letter her train, because she’s blind and therefore useless and can do no right. This sort of works, and when Ivypaw gets apprenticed, Lilykit stays in the nursery. Lilykit hates this, and begins training in the dark forest just so she can get any training at all, and end up getting close to a dark forest cat, Snaketail (his backstory’s too long to put here, but he has a soft spot for kits, especially kits with drowned siblings and neglectful parents) and gets really good at fighting. When she’s around ten moons old, she wakes up in the middle of the night to find the two new additions to the nursery (Applekit and Rosekit) missing and follows their scent to a clearing outside of camp, just in time to find them getting attacked by a dog. Applekit ends up losing his leg and Lilykit ends up losing her tail and being heavily scarred, but all three of them make it back to camp before Lilykit passes out from blood loss. Whiles she’s on the brink of death, a StarClan cat visits her, and tells her she’s part of a prophecy. Four cats with the power of the elements in their paw, shall save or destroy all the forest. And she’s the cat of water. She, predictively, takes that news very badly, remembering Dragonflykit and beginning to wonder if she really could have saved him and if his death is really her fault. But once she’s strong enough to leave the medicine den, she finds herself drawn to the water. Often sneaking out at night to see the river, and test her powers, and it works. After it’s decided that she can be apprenticed, Lilypaw starts getting close to the three other prophecy cat. Sunpaw, the cat of fire who is a ThunderClan apprentice alongside her. Briarrose, the cat of earth who is a WindClan warrior. And Pinepaw, the cat of air, who’s the ShadowClan medicine cat apprentice. The four of them meet up at the boarders every night to train and talk and practice their abilities, keeping it secret from their clans. After several moons, Sunpaw convinces Lilypaw to leave the dark forest since has no need for it anymore. Ivytail, who’s been named a warrior by now, is suspicious of his sister. Wondering what a blind, wrongly apprenticed kit is doing at the boarders all the time, and when he discovers the prophecy, discovers that his sister is special in a way he’ll never be, he throws a tantrum. He tells the leader immediately, who then tells the other clans, and soon everyone knows of the prophecy, and more importantly, about the four cats “freak powers” leaving Lilypaw even more isolated then before. At least that’s what Ivytail and her mother think. In reality, Lilypaw has a support system for the first time in her life, and while she might have been able to handle her own clan ostracizing her, the sight of her friends being hurt by things out of their control make her snap. The kits she saved, Applepaw and Rosepaw, propose the idea for leaving the territory and clans altogether. After much consideration, Lilypaw, Sunpaw, Pinepaw, Briarrose, Briarrose’s mate Featherheart and their two kits(Heatherkit and Oakkit), and Rosepaw and Applepaw all decide to run away from the clans and start their own. They have the power, the numbers, a nearly fully trained medicine cat, and no reason to stay. Lilypaw and the other decide their own names the night they leave. Lilypaw becomes Lilybloom. Sunpaw becomes Sunflight. Pinepaw becomes Pineheart. Rosepaw becomes Rosewing. And Applepaw becomes Appleclaw. Together, they all run away and create their own clan, MoonClan, where no one would ever fall through the cracks and be ostracized for things outside their control, disability, place in a prophecy, anything. They quickly grow in numbers, taking in rouges and loners, and eventually, after countless seasons, the old leader of ThunderClan, MouseStar, the same can the refused to apprentice Lilybloom as a kit, has to come and beg for their help. The territories have been overrun by diseases, natural disasters, famine and now the dwindling clans realize what horrible mistakes they made to ostracize them. But the prophecy cats refuse to help, remembering the prophecy that they shall save or destroy the forest, and decide that the forest is ruined beyond repair and needs to be destroyed. They then take in whatever is left of the clans once the prophecy is fulfilled, absorbing the warriors, who then pledge their allegiance to MoonClan, and the cats of the forest are now one united front, protecting each other for outside threats, under the rule of their four, brave and fair leaders.

I've created my OC. Tumblefoot. Tumblekit was born and his dad died from greencough the next moon. His mom,Marigoldsong. got exiled, for being a medicine cat and having kits. She left with her kits and joined Adder the loner in his barn for awhile. Then, SmokeClan took them in when Tumblekit was 6 moons old. He became Tumblepaw and trained as a medicine cat with his mom, but his mom said he was horrible at it. So, he trained to be a warrior. His mentor was the cat that would betray the clan and criticized him,Mumblemuzzle,. He caught a vole on his first hunting but it was after he lost footing in the grass and landed on it. His mentor tried to kill him after that, but he got away and told the clan. Mumblemuzzle was exiled. He became a warrior soon enough after learning how to keep his footing. He had a crush on Willowheart, the sleek, silver warrior. They became mates and she had his kits, Tanglekit, Silverkit and Graykit. Graykit died from greencough. He cursed StarClan after that. He somehow became deputy and watched his 2 living kits grow up. They became fine warriors. Tanglepelt and Silverheart. Willowheart had died soon after. His grief took over. He was not allowed out of camp for a moon. He finally calmed down and walked out of camp. He lead a battle patrol for an ambush on DoveClan. Then, he had the power of StarClan on his side as he saved his leader from losing his last life, he died after getting ripped in the belly. He looked over his kits as they grieved. Then, he died in StarClan saving his daughter, Silverheart, during a battle against the Dark Forest. THAT'S IT! MY FINGERS HURT xD

I've commented before but I'm going to elaborate on HeatherMist HeatherMist is an over protective and motherly she-cat. Why? Two of her siblings encountered a fox when they snuck out of camp. One was severely injured ,the other killed. She protects and cares for others in fear the same could happen to them. However, due to her caring nature, she sticks to her beliefs and opinions, which ultimately can cause problems. This ties into her story. Her leader rejects two kits found by HeatherMist during a harsh leaf bare. He believed the kits would die from famen in the clan. Raged, HeatherMist left the clan to care for the kits herself, not realising in the beginning that she had no milk to give them. The story is a WIP

I made a prophecy for one of my characters that matches SO EPICLY With love you shall find in the purest of pelts, from a contract of secrets. Disaster come before age take you, and your young shall go with the shadow of death. So basically, her mate has a pure white pelt, pretty simple, and they hit it off because she blackmailed him since he wasn't supposed to leave his camp. She dies young when her son and formermate attack her and her new family, and one of her kits is rescued by a certain ShadowClan cat who may or may not kill her mate in the future.. only one of his lives at least, so said cat would be "the shadow of death". "Shadow of death" is actually the cat's mate's long-lost-sister... and yeah that gets awkward when they figure that out... Edit: mate also had a dream where "shadow of death" cat kills him so.. even more detail there.

I don't like putting a message in my stories, because I like writing the stories to show how my oc got a certain way instead of making it a whole thing. I use my characters for roleplay, so i'm sure there's a difference in stories since most stories in rp are only up until their ages. With my oc's in a specific story I wrote, there was no message or moral in mind, but at the same time, if I ever wrote it i'm sure some things could be taken as lessons. One of my characters never learn to be at least decent to others around him, and he's driven out when criticism gets too much, because his mother was always there to defend him. He is my favorite character, because he's extremely fun to write for, and I can relate to what he's thinking. Other people don't like him, though, except for the people who 'know him' well enough to be able to get what his morals are. I followed most of the rules here, but I got too attached to my characters, and for a whole year all I could think about was them! When I try to make new characters I just can't get them right, because I always end up saying I couldn't get a story as good as the one I already have. I kept expanding the story, adding on characters and building onto that, now it's all a confusing bundle of "Why'd he do that?" "Why'd she say that?" "How come she's like that?" And I can't tell people because I just know they'd say something like that or do something like that, I don't know why, like being a little kid and punching someone. The teacher asks, why? You say you don't know, and you don't. I write my character's stories as if they were the one's in control, so what they want is what they want, and I know what they want.

So I have an OC that needs a warrior name. I’m still developing his story but here’s what I have so far. So his name is Tornadopaw, because of his tan-grey fur and (kinda) reckless personality. So he trains and the Dark Forest because they are getting more recruits to attack the clans (Tornadopaw is in WindClan btw) and he was given the power to see cats pasts, and he thinks this is a curse. If he brushes past a cat (who is important to the story and all lol) he sees through their eyes their past mistakes and heartbreak and feels all the physical and mental pain each cat goes through, and soon gains sympathy and empathy, to the point where the Dark Forest kicks him out of their cult because they don’t trust him and he just tells his clan their backstories and weaknesses. That’s all I have so far, if you guys have any ideas or name suggestions please let me know. I am also welcome to you guys telling me what you like and don’t like about his story so far, I kinda just want hep with his warrior name and story, thanks for reading this far and have a great day!!

My story (for anyone who cares): Basically the story of a medicine cat apprentice who gets pick up by animal control and ends up in the city where he meets an older rogue. They become friends and the Rogue becomes fond of the forest from what the clan cat tells him. The rogue decides he wants to start his own clan in the city. Eventually they get enough cats to create four clans. The story is basically a 'what if' but also has themes and stuff. Characters: Turtlepaw, later becomes Turtleshell. Turtle, because he is actually a male tortoise shell. My story sticks closer to realism so he gets teased for "looking like a girl" But turtle is also because he is very shy and unconfident. Later he Becomes Turtleshell because even though he is reclusive, he has great strength and never lets teasing or bad situations hurt him. The rogue, (I haven't really named him just yet because in my version cats don't really name themselves, but just have nicknames or go by scent. He is a dark gray tom. Gray because he represents the "gray area" that the story takes place in which Turtlepaw is constantly questioning whether this is right or wrong. (Note: I'm also strongly considering making him black and white to the same effect but I don't know) Clovertoe, Tutrlepaws mentor who comes all the way to the city to find him. Clovertoe is a total hypochondriac and is played like a comic relief, and shows up about halfway through the story. He is my favorite character. Thematically, he represents what Turtlepaw is afraid of becoming (though he does love him like a father). Additionally there is a villain type character: a white Persian with a very ugly face. But of course only cares that she is a purebred, and thinks she is the prettiest thing in the world. Basically shows what happens when a clan is formed without the right morals. A clan of rogue that live near a dumpster, they represent a clan without motivation because they just hang around the garbage all day being lazy. (I call them Trash Clan) None of the city cats believe in star clan but the have their own religion. I have a lot of ideas for scene and characters but I just sprint know if I want to waste my time on a warrior cat fanfic that no one will read....

Even if you don't think anyone else will read it, write it! Writing is a great experience in its own way. As you figure out how the story works, you learn more about the world and characters that you created. Sure, it takes more work, but writing is basically like reading a story that no one else has read before. An author of a story is its first reader. And you don't know for a fact that no one would read it. If you finish it and are brave enough to put it where people will see it, then of course someone (probably multiple people) will read it. Whether they will like it or not depends on how good you are at making it continuous (no plot holes), how well it's written (use of vocabulary), and just whether or not they like that kind of series.

I have an oc. His name is Brambleberry, and he's in Thunderclan. When he was a kit, his mother was murdered by his father for accusing him of cheating on her. After that Bramblekit was treated poorly by his father. He wasn't allowed to sleep in the nursery or take food from the pile. If he broke any rules, his father would punish him horribly. This caused Bramblekit to rarely trust any cats and develop anger issues. He was a bully, often bullying his fellow kits, and was held back from being an apprentice two times. However, two apprentices witnessed his father's abuse and reported it, causing his father to be exiled. A she cat helped Bramblekit control his anger, though she was never able to cure his trust issues. One day he went out on a solo hunting mission as an apprentice and suddenly got attacked by his father. He had led two dogs behind him, and held Bramblepaw down madly while the dogs attacked them. The dogs killed his father and tore off Bramblepaw's leg and tail. Bramblepaw recovered and became a medicine cat, partially because of his disability and partially because he didn't want to hurt any more cats than he did when he was a kit. Brambleberry is snappy and has trouble trusting other cats. He is a skilled medicine cat and is loyal as well. He doesn't have much sympathy/empathy unless the cat went through something like him. He is known to murder cats who knows abuses their kits, and strives to stop what happened to him ever happening to anyone else.

I have an OC names Dogpaw. He’s only a background character and isn’t even from my POV clan (the POV is RiverClan and Dogpaw is from WindClan) but I actually wanted to give my background characters stories and opinions and personalities. Therefore, here is Dogpaw’s story: Dogkit was born to Larkwing and a rogue named Hawk. He was born in the winter with two other siblings, but they weren’t named because they were born dead. Larkwing never wanted kits and only cared about being with Hawk, so she named the surviving kit after something that was a menace to all cats, a dog. She then abandoned Dogkit in WindClan territory (Larkwing is from ThunderClan) and Flamepaw found him while hunting with his mentor, Waspwing. I mean it was an abandoned kit so they brought it to WindClan where he was cared for by Russetstripe and her mate, Weaselspring. Dogkit was seen as a bad omen by many, since his name had “dog” in it, so Dogkit wasn’t very accepted in the clan. He was good friends with the other kits though, Sunkit and Rowankit from Russetstripe’s biological litter, and Alderkit, Dovekit and Ravenkit from Rainsplatter’s litter. Sadly, though, Sunkit begins getting spoken to by a dark forest cat named Ashfall. He eventually convinced Sunkit to turn on his siblings, and since he was the biggest and oldest (which is the reason he was targeted by the dark forest) he was convinced to kill his siblings. So one night Sunkit snuck up on the two and attacked them. Dogkit woke up and fought off Sunkit, But was not able to save Rowankit. This put Dogkit into a depression at a young age, and made him cold towards the other kits, and other cats in general. He feels like he should just run away, and so one night, he sneaks out of the nursery and runs away. Little did he know, there was another kit, Mothkit, that saw him sneaking out. She was worried he’d get hurt because of all the stories her mom had told her about so she followed him. He went to the lake and walked along the shore, not hearing Mothkit. There was a small, sandy, peninsula jutting our into the water where it became deep (u probably know where this is going). Dogkit wanted to see what was there so he went to the tip of it and looked into the water. He noticed a small minnow darting around in the water. He had never seen one before so it spiked his curiosity. He reached in but got startled by the cold water and fell in. He began thrashing in the water and Mothkit went in after him. She wasn’t sure how to swim but figured it out quickly, as her mind works logically and quickly in stressful situations like this. She grabbed Dogkit and pulled him back into the peninsula, and after that, they were inseparable, and they fell into a deep case of young love. Mothkit helped him overcome his depression and he became happy again. (And if ur wondering what happened to Sunkit, he was taken to the moon pool to perform a WindClan ritual for kits who were affected by the dark forest, discovered by a medicine cat named Briarfrost. Anyways, Dogkit and Mothkit became even more inseparable as they got older, and became Dogpaw and Mothpaw. That’s just his story up until now, but I’m probably gonna make a novella or a super edition about him (prob a novella since I can’t stretch his life into almost 40 chapters) And I applaud you if u read all that. 👏👏👏👏

At the end of the video, when Akira said that there are no rules you need to follow, and she was right, but if you want, you can still make up rules for yourself if it makes you happy. I usually prefer keeping the genetics as realistic as possible, and some others may do the same thing, but not everyone has to. But this doesn't mean that everyone else has to follow those rules, if you see a fanfic with unrealistic markings, and you prefer using realistic ones, you shouldn't get mad at that person. Basically, what I'm trying to say is, it's your story, do whatever you want.

when i made BlackClaw , i wanted him to be a villian character whose goal, similar to other evil cats, was to conquer each clan, but i didn't have an idea how, then i wrote a story draft, which was a prophecy that he was going to be evil and turning out to be helpful in the end, which made no sense, this helped with looks and multiple other things that i didn't have in the beginning story, with some time to rethink his backstory, remove some characters, and watch this video, I finally came up with a backstory that made sense, a story that i could involve some ideas that i plotted out in the beggining while also adding new characters and stuff. so thank you!

Here’s a backstory of an oc that I made couple days ago it all starts in shadowclan silverkit a gray cat with darker gray and black spots and amber eyes accidentally eats deathberries when she was two moons old. While the medicine cats try to help her the leader renames her deathkit (I know cruel) she survives somehow. She hates her name as a kit and and apprentice. Deathpaw trains very hard with her mentor and in the dark forest. When she gets her warrior name her clanmates realize that deathpaw... well now deathclaw and really bring death thanks to training in the dark forest. Moons after becoming a warrior and later deputy (she didn’t kill deputy) while hunting by herself she meets a rogue who once belonged in windclan named crowclaw. They are at first enemies but later become friends.... and THEN mates. Deathclaw tells the clan she has no idea who the father is. After the kits are born crowclaw comes into shadowclan camp and tells them the real about him being the father. Deathclaw hesitates but reveals its all true. She is of coursed exiled but they let her leave one kit she chooses blackkit a tom who looks like his father exactly which is black with green eyes. She leaves with crowclaw and stonekit a male with green eyes who looks like actual stone but also with a bit darker gray spots and a shecat named silverkit she looks just like her mother but only black spots and amber eyes. They meet another clan called bloodclan and join. Scourge the leader changes deathclaw’s name to spottedpelt. While stonepaw and silver paw are training to be warriors, bloodclan decides to attack shadowclan and then windclan. Crowclaw and spottedpelt don’t really care about attacking their old clans. After the battles that they barely won scourge make stonepaw and silverpaw warriors. Silverpaw is now silverheart and stonepaw is now stonepelt. Then end (for now)

I would argue that symbolism is not a necessary building block, but an interesting addition to a story. It enhances the story and the themes, yes, but you can still have a great story without it. I do think this is a wonderful video.

My warrior oc is Russetshade Thick furred russet she~cat with green eyes and a bushy tail Story Russetshade was born in Oceanclan until Adderstar retired and Stonefang became Oceanclans new leader, Stonestar. Later on he became evil and trained kits to young and hunted on other clan territories. Then he later on kicked Russetshade out of Oceanclan because she refused to hunt on other territories. Then Vinestar, leader of Mountainclan, found Russetshade close to her territory. Then Russetshade joined Mountainclan and fell in love with Graystorm. 2 moons later Stonestar died but Russetshade felt more at home in Mountainclan. Russetshade did miss her sister, Snowstorm, her brother, Mudfoot, her mother, Fawnleap, her father Ashbreeze, and all her clanmates, then Russetshades father became leader of Mountainclan, Ashstar. Russetshade gets an apprentice, Cinderpaw who becomes Cinderberry. Vinestar dies and Redclaw becomes Redstar, and I’m still working on more of the story.

She had to be a medicine cat apprentice, and give up her love for her best friend, Cypressleaf. Later, she has to save Cypressleaf from being hit by the fender of a monster. Mudfoot saved Cypressleaf, and then realized she still loved him. Bam, forbidden love. She never had kits, because she was unable to. Thanks for helping me create a good story for Mudfoot!

Random story about my OC: So, first it was just a name on Fandom. Then it got my OC. After that I joined an RPG Wikia with Warrior Cats (also from Fandom). I couldn‘t take my Tribename for the RPG, so I made an Warriorname out of it. (Moon that shines on pool/lake -> Moonpool) So has her story made herself. No she is a medicine cat (cuz medicine cats are cool af) that lives in a Clan. Her Tribe is destroyed, she was going around in the mountains with the stoneteller, her mother and brother, and some other cats. Then she had to leave her group, because she had a destiny, and then found to her Clan as a kit (a loner helped her, so she wasn‘t alone). Yeah. I‘m now writing her story on a Phantasy Wikia (also from Fandom). The loners name is also Agate. (Ok, that was a text, because I didn‘t really have had names for the cats, because I am German and names like Moon that shines on pool I haven‘t translated yet.) So two-ish years ago, I created this medicine cat OC, and made her a villain. I've always wanted a villain med. cat in the books, because I find it to be an interesting concept. What happens when the cat standing next to Starclan disobeys them? What happens when the healer cat uses her knowledge to harm instead of heal? Obviously, a cat who chose to be a medicine cat (yes, she WANTED to be one, she wasn't forced) wouldn't be like this to begin with. Something must've triggered it. So, I decided to add death and betrayal. Betrayed by who? Starclan themself. I decided the possibility of actually being betrayed by Starclan was... pretty low, so I felt like I needed to change that into a misunderstanding. I replaced a Starclan cat betraying her by a Dark forest cat tricking her. After said "betrayal", she became hateful towards Starclan, therefore both breaking the codes (she doesn't care for Starclan anymore, why should she follow their rules?) and being an antagonist to a normal clan cat. I haven't come further than this tbh, but I'm thinking she will find out she had been tricked and realising her faults. Either that or she goes spiraling doowwnnwards

I have a character I am obsessed with, his name is Thistlefang. When he was young he was a kittypet named Trevor, he had two brothers and a sister, Andreas, Vermillion, and Harper. His parents hated each other and his father was abusive, his father(Hawk) attacked his mother and she seemed to have died(though she didn't). Hawk ran away from the problem and left the kits to die, when Trevor asked him what to do, he responded with, "run away, leave to the clans." Trevor proceeded to do this, he met a cat named Cipher who asked him, "What is a young kit like you dong out here alone?" Trevor explains that he was gong to the clans, Cipher helps him by telling him StormClan is close by and smashing off his collar to give him a better chance. A kit named Harpkit finds Trevor and brings him to StormClan, a queen named Littlefeather fosters him, Littlefeather has another kit named Silverkit. Skip a while forward and Trevor sneaks out, he gets attacked by a badger and Littlefeather sacrifices herself to save Trevor, a patrol comes along seconds to late with Silverkit(now Silverpaw). Silverpaw blames this on Trevor and claws him across the face. Skip to Trevor's apprentice ceremony, he gets apprenticed to Thornclaw, a daylight warrior who is the fiercest warrior in the Clan, she suggests the name Thistlepaw because of his long claws. Thistlepaw sees a cat named Darkstar at the ceremony, when he asks where Darkstar is, Thornclaw tells him that he died a long time ago. Skip a while and Harppaw wakes Thistlepaw to go to the border, she explains that Jaggedpaw told her Silverpaw started a fight at the SkyClan border. Thistlepaw goes with her ony because he likes her, they find out that Silverpaw was arguing with Fernstar, the leader of SkyClan. The duo intervenes and then a fight breaks out, Thistlepaw is scared to fight and Sikverpaw uses this as an excuse to attack him. Harppaw begs Fernstar to make them stop and he pulls Silverpaw away from Thistlepaw, Silverpaw suckers everyone into not saying a word about what happened. That night, a Dark Forest warrior named Blackdream comes to Thistlepaw, he teases Thistlepaw and then taunts him about revenge, Thistlepaw says he wishes Silverpaw would leave him alone and Blackdream replies with, "make him fear you." then attacks him, Thistlepaw fought back this time and they both agreed to meet the next night. Skip a while and Thornclaw and Duckhowl take their apprentices and Jaggedpaw to battle train, Thornclaw leaves for a bit. Duckhowl tells Jaggedpaw and Silverpaw to kill Thistlepaw(i haven't thought out why yet but I'm probably going to make something bad happen with kittypets in Duckhowl's past) and they do so. Due to Thistlepaw's df training, he gets Silverpaw to run away and JAggedpaw backs off. Duckhowl then attacks Thistlepaw himself and Thistlepaw kills him, Jaggedpaw then tries to run but Thistlepaw catches him and gives him a death threat before letting him go. To be continued... Congrats if you read all of this, there is way more but i didn't want to make this too long. Anyway the moral of his story is, "it is never too late to try again." This is because later on when he is a warrior, he kills the current deputy. Silverstar(who is unknowing of this) makes him the new deputy. Silverstar was always terrible to Thistlefang so he asks him why he made hi deputy, Siverstar says that he was wrong and he wants to start over and get a new chance. Thistlefang is able to relate to Silverstar and hesitantly excepts. After this incident Thistlefang starts to let his past go, starting with him leaving the dark forest. After a while, Minnowtail(Medicine cat and Thistlefang's old apprentice) tells Silverstar that Thistlefang tried to kill him when he was an apprentice(this is why he became a Medicine Cat) and Thistlefang is exiled. During his exile he tries to kill Hopepaw(a SkyClan MCA) and fails, she doesn't know who it was but Minnowtail does. Minnowtail goes out that night to find Thistlefang and stumbles apon a dead body, this is Beaverdawn(Hopepaw's mentor) and Thistkefang then tries to kill him, while doing so he starts whispering that he is sorry and apologizes to everyone he killed, then runs away, leaving Minnowtail alone, and luckily still living. Skip a while forward and Minnowtail finds Thistlefang, they both choose to ignore what happened a whil ago. Thistlefang now lives in a abandoned shed, Thistlefang apparently wants nothing to do with Minnowtail at the moment. A while later Minnowtail comes back to Thistlefang, along with Jaggedtooth, Thornclaw, and Hopepaw. Minnowtail asks Thistlefang about the rogues, Thistlefang says the leader of them is his brother, Vermillion. Minnowtail asks him how he knows, Thistlefang says Beaverdawn told him right before she died. Jaggedtooth, Hopepaw, and Thornclaw get super confused, Thistlefang then tells them about everthing that happened after he got exiled, besides the fact that he almost killed Minnowtail and Hopepaw. They all are reasonably terrified, Minnowtail clarifies the fact that Thistlefang wont kill them. Thistlefang asks them if they could help him take down the rogues, everyone says yes because Thistkefang is bae. A she-cat stumbles in to hide from the rain outside, she looks up and notices Thistkefang. Her eyes widen and she stares at him in awe, Thistefang does the same to her. She comes up to him and whispers that she is sorry, Thistlefang then attacks her in blind rage, he manages to rip her eye out before Minnowtail and Thornclaw pulled him away, this mentioned cat is Thistlefang's mother, Creek. Thistlefang is mad because she left them all to die and never even attempted to find him. Creek runs away, terrified, Thistlefanv realizes what he just did. Everyone around him is terrified at the moment, Thistlefang screams at them to leave, they obviously do so. The next day they come back, to they're surprise, Creek is there too, along with three other cats, the previously mentioned Cipher, Pyro, and Alaska. Thistlefang tells Minnowtail, Thornclaw, Jaggedtooth, and Hopepaw that Creek wanted to find Vermillion so she begged Thistlefang to include her, Cipher, Pyro, and Alaska were there to help if they needed a team effort job. Skip a good amount of events(actually this comment has skipped a truck full of events, including major ones) and StarClan visits Thistlefang(while he is still a rogue) and give him nine lives, the cats are Beaverdawn, Littlefeather, Darkstar, Brokensight, Mapleshade, Harper, and other cats i haven't decided lol. His last life was given by Beaverdawn, who gave him a life of forgiveness and sympathy. He wakes up and brushes it off as a weird dream, because Silverstar was still alive and he was a rogue. Skip some more stuff and Thistkefang is with Minnowtail and Hopepaw, they find Vermillion and some other rogues. Vermillion manages to get Thistlefang mad and Thistlefang attacks him, Vermillion beats him embarrassingly, Vermillion tells Thistlefang to kill Minnowtail and Hopepaw or they will all die(Vermillion wanrs to rule the Clans, so he wants them all dead) Thistlefang gets up and looks at Hopepaw and Minnowtail, who think that he will kill them. Thistlefng turns on Vermillion and tries to kill him, he tells Hoprpaw and Minnowtail to run. Thistlefang then gets killed. Skip a while and Vermillion's army and the Clans go to war. Close to the end of the battle, Hopepaw gets cornered on the edge of the gorge by Vermillion. Sleetstar(PebbleClan leader, Thistlefang's ex mate who he threw in the river because Sleetstar(fur at the time) tried to kill Harpdawn because she thought that she was going to have Thistlefang's kits) since the Clans know how Thistlefang died, Sleetstar gets angry and yells at Vermillion. Brokenwing tells her to stop but she won't. Now onto Thistlefang, he is revived by StarClan. Brokensight(btw Brokenwing is the reincarnation of Brokensight) tells him to go and stop the war. Thistlefang does as he says, whilst he looks for Hopepaw he runs into Thornclaw, who is beyond happy to see him. Thistlefang asks where Hopepaw is, she says she doesn't know. Thistlefang hears Sleetstar and runs over to her, he sees Vermillion and a idea pops up in head. At this point a lot of cats, including the rogues have gathered to see what is happening. Thistlefang charges into Vermillion, causing them both to fall off. There is still t more but i don't feel like writing. If you read all of this you ca marry me, i would enjoy ideas in the comments and maybe light critism.

Me and my cousin actually made 2 characters and their great! The characters name is pepper, she's a skinny, scrawny, ex bloodclan cat! She ran away quiet far, and ended up in a neighborhood. He wanted a conflict character for her bad we end up developing these two personalities.. Pepper She's very conservative, so she has a great judge of character. She's shy, because she has some trust issues after the events of bloodclan. But she can be really sassy and come off as a bit rude. She's really passionate and loyal to those she opens up too, wich is rare.... Keith(beetle) Keith is really generous, cunning, and ambitious because he knows alot about his neighborhood and he's conservative aswell, he has a great judge of character. He can lie to get out of things. He's a dork, and a bit of a flirt. He likes humans because his mother trusts her owners alot, he's an only child because his mother had fertility problems as an old alley cat, her pet name for him was beetle because hes a pure black tom. The two meet because pepper gets lost, and gets backed up into a corner by a few small dogs, she was still stressed and shy about running away from bloodclan, and she didn't enjoy life all too much just yet. Keith stood the dogs off and introduces himself as a dorky, mysterious tom. Pepper and Keith talk for a bit, sharing backstories, pepper trusts him a bit but rolls her eyes at his flirty dorky side. They argue alot XD (The two don't have romantic tension at all) my cousin and I love these two :))

I'm gonna put my bab here. Her name is sage. Sage was a kittypet and was living with children who didn't really know how to treat her. She ran into the forest and a fox attacked her. She was saved by some apprentices, Dewpaw, strawberrypaw, gingerpaw and shorepaw. They take her back to camp, and obviously, no one was happy with sage being there but she was injured so they took her into the medicine cat (no name yet but I'll refer to her as Med.). Med took a liking to sage and as she was healing, med would show her herbs and teach her how to make stuff. Once she has healed, she wanted to stay in the clans as a medical cat. This bit is similar to mothewing, but everyone doesn't think that Starclan will accept her. She goes to the moonstone and meets some starclan cats but they tell sage to leave. She's not ment to be in the clans and she will mess up everything. Sage is obviously very upset and begs to stay. Med cat felt so bad for sage she lets her stay and told everyone she was accepted. Starclan was very very angry but let it slide thinking that sage would soon leave, But she doesn't so the kill med cat to perhaps scare sage into leaving. But sage is strong and takes over the dutie of medicine cat. She gets an apprentice. She also proudly had kits with her mate and tells everyone that she doesn't care what Starclan thought of them. When she next traveled to the moon stone, Starclan told her to take her kits and go back to twoleg place or starclan would deal with her them self. Sage days no and Starclan show her that they have sent a fox to kill her kits. She runs from the moon stone and fights off the fox, getting some serious wounds. The kits are safe but sage is in excruciating pain. She dies of Hanika diseases as if all the plants she loved came back to kill her (working on symbolism with this). Starclan don't let her in and she is forced to stay in the camp untill 1000 medicine cats have passed. Sage will appear to leaders, medicine cats, her kin and prophecy cats to help them out and stuff. That's my baby, her story was inspired by the song ghost as one of the lines are 'White ghost telling me everything I do is wrong I don't belong here'

Oofie, here is a very sad story about my main OC, Gingersnap/Gingerstar Long ago, A queen named Moonclaw, Mated with Skyclaw, They had 2 kits, Gingerkit and Thornkit. Gingerkit was adventurous, and wishes she could be leader someday, Thornkit also wants to be leader, But Thornkit is clumsy but strong. It was 7 moons later, Gingerkit became Gingerpaw and Thornkit Became Thornpaw. When it was Gingerpaw's Last few days until her assessment, her Mentor, Silverheart Told Gingerpaw to pretend she was an enemy warrior. Gingerpaw knew a lot of good moves, but she ended up badly wounding Silverheart that the next day she died. Gingerpaw was soon hated by half of her clanmates, which ended up in Thornpaw becoming a warrior a few days later, Becoming Thornpelt Gingerpaw was confined to camp for a moon, she was the only apprentice until Moonkit, Furrykit, and Leafykit moved to the apprentice den, they were nice to her because "everyone makes mistakes, you know. Not even StarClan can change that." They said to her. A moon has passed, Gingerpaw became Gingersnap, But still hated very much by her brother, Thornpelt. Moons have passed, Gingersnap had lead a patrol to the Shadowclan Border, and was challenged by some Shadowclan Warriors. Wingedstar's Deputy, Mistyheart, had died because of the Shadowclan border incident. Gingersnap is appointed deputy, Thornpelt envying Gingersnap, Becomes a rogue, hence, plotting with some other rogues to kill Gingersnap Wingedstar had died from old age, Gingersnap travels to Mothermouth to receive her 9 lives from StarClan. When she was done getting her lives, her old Bestfriend in Kithood, Dawnkit had came to say "a cat with a pelt as sharp as thorns will attack Thunderclan on the Claw-moon." Gingerstar then tells the Medicine cat, Lunarwing about it, Lunarwing is thinking about it, so is Gingerstar. It is the Claw-moon, Moonheart, Fuzzytail and Leafyfur, aswell as Swantail and Gingerstar, Go on hunting patrol. Thornpelt goes to Thunderclan with his rogue friends, The patrol comes just in time, Thornpelt pounces on Gingerstar and bites her neck, She loses 1 life. Patchwing, Muddyfur and Gingerstar Kill Thornpelt. But Rainstorm, Thornpelt's Bestfriend in kithood, grieves for him. Swantail, Skyleap and Mistbreeze kill Thornpelt's Rogue friends, One of them, named Storm, kills the Deputy, Wolfclaw. Rainstorm tells Gingerstar to leave because of what she had done to Thornpelt. Gingerstar run out of camp, Moonheart, Fuzzytail and Leafyfur run after her, to see that their leader has vanished into a Twolegplace, never to be seen again.

Me and my friend pumpklin (Thats there YT channel) made this warrior cats game. we play it everytime he comes over. We have characters with very long stories. First theres thunderkit (My friends character) and his sister willowkit and his bff spiderkit become apprentices. Night clan attacks there camp and badly injures willowpaw with a death berry. (I Was 7 at the time.) No one knows who did it. One of the kits say woodkit did it. hes the most mischeavious one. but he didn't do it. Then they thought the shadowclan deputy did it. but the shadowclan leader did it. the clan goes and attacks nightclan. they lose. Thunderpaw is made into thunderstruck, spider kit to spiderheart, willowpaw to willowfeather. Later. like a few months later. Woodkit is given to thunderstruck. woodkit has a really long tail. like REALLLLYYYYYY long. like this long ------------------------------------------------- xD Yeah. and thats all im writing im bored lol

I'm gonna try this... (Sorry if it's bad this is my first time) Coalkit was found in a twoleg barn on some black stuff. Later the patrol was told that the black stuff was coal, resulting in the name Coalkit. Coalkit was taken to Shadowclan, where the queen Applepelt took care of him. Applepelt never truly liked Coalkit, resulting in Coalkit to be closed off by the time Coalkit became Coalpaw. Coalpaw's mentor was the gray tom Moonpelt. Moonpelt had evil intentions, but nobody suspected it. Eventually Moonpelt told Coalpaw his evil intentions, after Coalpaw was caught spying. Coalpaw told the leader, Stripestar, but she called him a mousebrain. After the deputy, Purplestripe, died of greencough Stripestar named Moonpelt deputy. About a moon after his naming ceremony, Coalfoot and his clanmates were at war with rouges. During the war, Stripestar lost her last life due to a rouge. Moonpelt was the only one who saw it. Finally Moonstar used his evil plans. Coalfoot, feeling betrayed by everyone, ran out of the forest after yowling "I told you!" He came across the barn he was born at, and the kittypet who told the clan cats that the black stuff he was found laying on was coal. The kittypet, Ember, helped Coalfoot find the twoleg den. A twoleg kit ran outside yowling, followed by an adult twoleg. The twoleg adult said something, and Ember whispered "They're naming you Coal." The story is basically about a cat who doesn't feel apart of his clan, and left when he was proved right. He then found a new life, and name, at a "twoleg den". Colors: Coal- Pitch black Ember- Ginger Stripestar- Ginger with dark Ginger stripes Moonstar- white Purplestripe- Black with white paws and a white tail tip. Applepelt- dark ginger. How'd I do for my first time?

I wrote a story using this video: IcyStar is a fragile, protective, and dedicated white tom. He chose his best friend, RedBird, as his deputy. RedBird isn’t very good at being deputy and struggles to do things right, so IcyStar’s sister, PetalGaze, helps him. Later on in the story, RedBird witnesses PetalGaze murdering a Clanmate and has to decide weather or not to tell on her. He decides to tell. IcyStar then exiles PetalGaze and RedBird is left alone to struggle with being deputy. Then RedBird sneaks out at night to go and find PetalGaze and bring her back because he can’t go on being deputy. He returns, but IcyStar won’t let her join again. PetalGaze and RedBird leave the Clan. IcyStar’s Clan is attacked because they are weak without a deputy. PetalGaze and RedBird return in the middle of the battle and help defeat the enemy Clan. Both cats are accepted back into the Clan and PetalGaze becomes the new deputy. The end!

When I made Wolfwhisker he was a medicine can apprentice and because of this he and 3 other med cat apprentices from diff clans and go on a journey to help Snake and Acorn territory. He falls in love with Hawaiianpaw and she loves him back, Honeypaw died to a puma which made every cat very upset including Darkpaw who was her brother. Once wolfpaw came back to Cloudclan he was gifted his med cat name, Wolfwhisker. He becomes mates with Hawaiianflower has 3 kits, Mintkit dies to Gingerpelt, Hawaiianflower dies to Shadowfang, Juniperkit and willowkit are left to live with a kittypet. Willowkit becomes attached to Sunset while Juniperkit hates him. Wolfwhisker is upset over his son's death and his mate's death and is unable to see his daughters grow up until they come to cloudclan. Juniperpaw becomes Junipermoon, she dies and Willowseed trains hard to become Willowstar, her father dies and a new prophecy comes. Its a very long story

When I first started writing about my oc Minnowpaw, she was a reck. After her brother dieing and minnowpaw making assumptions, Minnowpaw decided to attack her leader. She killed her leader, but no one knew so Thunderclan excepted her. She ended falling for a character name Stormpaw, and he had the same feelings. The end. If I were to rewrite I would make it so that Minnowpaw had met thunderclan a few days before the death of her brother. When her brother died she would run away and join Thunderclan. After joining thunderclan she would find that she could manipulate Stormpaw to do things for her, because she had scared him and he had feelings for her. She would then meet an apprentice named Badgerpaw who shared the news of their dead leader. After manupulating Stormpaw (Now Stormtail) she would realize what she haddone, and tried to heal it. Stormtail would no longer accept Minnowpaw (Now Minnowfur) and Minnowpaw would have to face her consiquences. Eventually, on a border patrol she would meet with Badgerfoot, and she would ask for his forgiveness and ask to join Riverclan. She wouldn't be accepted by any clan for a while, until she was expecting Badgerfoot's kits.

One of my OC’s is calked SwanFeather. She is a white she cat with grey and black stripes. She has a black tail tip and black ears. She also has green eyes. She lost her father in a battle with ShadowClan (she is Thunderclan btw) as an apprentice. But that didn’t stop her from trying to be the best warrior she could be! But once she became a warrior, she almost died alongside her mother from greencough. She struggled with grief for a while, but she still tried to serve her clan as best as she could, though it wasn’t much. One day while she was sitting on SunningRocks, ElkBreeze confessed his feelings for her. They became mates, and she is now expecting his kits. And she can’t wait to have them!

I have an OC, Thistlechaser. Her mother is from a Clan that values that 'spark' of intelligence in kits above almost all else, and if a kit does not display that 'spark' soon enough, the mother traditionally abandons that kit in the forest to ensure the clan's survival, so that they don't have feral 'beasts' in camp. Thistlekit was one such kit, and when her mother, Pinestripe, took her out into the forest to die, she was reminded of a past litter, who she had to abandon all of them. Pinestripe was so consumed with grief-rage that she very nearly ended Thistlekit's life right then. She didn't, but Thistlechaser ended up with a permenantly crippled foreleg and with voices in her head. I chose the name Thistlechaser because she seems prickly and well.. crazy at first (which she is.) but once you earn her love, she will chase after you through thick and thin. Also, because she has difficulty running due to her crippled foreleg, and I like the irony. 😳

Hello, I came to this video because I am making a story kind of a book but it's really only for a special friend. I'm a bit late to the party but... petalstar rank: leader backstory: (it's long) petalkit was born with her brother fidgetkit and her sister hollykit fidgetkit was killed when they snuck off and ran into a fox petalkit blamed herself and grieved for a long time she soon became petalpaw her mentor was puddlefoot who was a young friendly warrior who would never understand her grief of her dead brother she starts training in the dark forest with scorchflower a dark forest warrior she began showing aggression to puddlefoot and hollypaw shutting them out but hollypaw talked her out of the dark forest training and she started becoming more friendly she became petalfrost and hollypaw became hollyshine puddlefoot then died from greencough and so did applebranch the deputy of hazelclan petalfrost became deputy after that but met a kittypet named dew and they started meeting up during the night many moons later she found out she was going to have kits and was terrified of that beacuse she would be asked who the father was so she had to give them to a queen (thinking of a name for the queen) pretending that she found them lakestar died in battle with appleclan making petalfrost leader she made hollyshine deputy she soon found out dew died from unknown reasons and made her three kits fernkit mothkit and bramblekit apprentices taking mothpaw as her own apprentice then.. the secret spilled out her life slowly falling right in front of her being reminded of all the things she had done all of her friends stopped being her friends bramblehiss (her son) became evil because of her and had to exile him fernleaf died from a unknown health problem and mothyowl felt betrayed and depressed petalstar risked her last life to save her daughter mothyowl from a rogue and was drowned by the rogue she now sits in starclan watching as her sister becomes hollystar THE END wow that was long :0 thanks for the tips!

i think my charicter might be a good charicter in your eyes... i hope. she has flaws and good things, i think she might be a calico because she is mainly dark grey,with orange in her ears,paws,back and back of tail and chest,and white on her muzzle and tip of tale.and she goes through loss and triumph and other things... i just like my charicter echoear

@@notsoweeklywarrior1427 thank you so much! The names are moonclaw, snowyclaw, sundo and nightscar moonclaw is nice and shy. Snowclaw is hyper and lazy. Sundo is friendly and caring. Nightscar is smug and quiet.

PPM Remey the personality’s are good. But sundo doesn’t really have any flaws. It’s quite easy to make a flaw. And also, which one is the main character? Can you tell me the main characters backstory. But it seems great, so far.

I could help as well! Maybe Sundo could be shy, and possibly hiding a secret? That can be a good part of his character. If not, maybe he can try to be *too* easygoing and sometimes make a bad decision, with Clanmates, enemies, etc. If Snowclaw is hyper, how is he lazy? Could you elaborate? Nightscar is a perfect name for a personality like his. Nice job!

everyone gets this wrong but they should be called FCs or “Fan characters” as to call them OCs is to call them original as if you made them. This also comes with the claim that you own warriors as they’re not original unless you came up with the idea yourself.
