BungeeCord and Multiverse-core are completely different. In a nutshell, Multiverse-Core allows you to have multiple worlds on a single Minecraft server. BungeeCord allows you to link multiple Minecraft servers together in a Network. So if you want a SMP, Creative, Skyblock and Prison server, all linked together in a single Network, that is possible with BungeeCord. Multiverse-Core just allows you to add a few extra worlds to your Minecraft server. Some people do try to mimic a BungeeCord Network with Multiverse-Core though. By running multiple gamemodes besides each other, all in a different world. While this is possible to some extent, there is only so much you can do on a single server. And especially when you're getting lots of players, eventually a single server won't be able to handel them all. So when you know you'll get lots of players, BungeeCord is always recommanded if you want to run multiple gamemodes. So players will be spread across multiple servers and nothing will crash. Big server, like Hypixel for example, take this to another level and have multiple servers of the same 'gamemode'. For example, they have 30+ lobbys. Just to handel the huge amount of players they are getting. And if one server crashes, no problem. Players will just switch to another server and continue on playing. So yeah, hope that explains enough :)

@@zenmusics221 Hmm It kinda depends on how many players you're expecting to get on your server. To be honest, 5GB is not a lot for so many gamemodes. But, if 5GB is all you have, I would recommand 1 server with 5 GB. Just because a 1GB server doesn't run well at all, especially with plugins. That would mean a 1GB SMP with plugins and players on it, that won't work well. Best case senario would be to have a little more RAM and spread it around your servers. So the Lobby could have 1GB, Creative maybe 2 or 3. SMP around 4 or 5 and parkour 2 or 3 as well. Of course, if you will be getting many players, these amounts will be a lot higher.

Not all plugin can be connected to a MySQL server. If they can, you should be able to find it somewhere in the config.

Yes you can in most cases. In a MySQL database, data is stored in what we call 'tabels'. As long as 2 tabels don't have the same name, it is fine. Though let's say there are 2 plugins that both have a table called 'config' for example, it could become a problem. Though in most cases, plugins will make their tabels unique and you shouldn't have this problem. I've had 5 plugins all on the same MySQL server without a problem :)

Unfortunately not, Aternos does not support Bungeecord. You will have to go for a paid hosting provider to run a Network :)
