I love this. There are some tutorials recommended using PDFescape but it requires a subscription, after downloading the fillable file and canceling subs, the fillable file disappeared. You're a live saver

I think you can change it in Dochub when you're setting up all the fillable boxes but once you've saved it as pdf, you won't be able to change it in the pdf.

oh no..have you tried sending it to yourself? Not sure why it wouldn't open. Try sending it to yourself, open it and see what happens. And try opening it using different apps or softwares (Preview, Acrobat, etc). :)

You're welcome. No, fillable PDFs won't work directly with KDP downloadable digital products/ebooks. KDP focuses on fixed-layout eBooks: Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) is designed for publishing eBooks with a fixed layout. This means the text and formatting stay consistent across different devices. Fillable PDFs are interactive and allow users to input data, which isn't compatible with KDP's fixed-layout format.owever, there are alternative solutions for your fillable PDFs. Consider other platforms. Look into marketplaces like Etsy, Creative Market/Fabrica, or your own website where you can sell fillable PDFs directly. These platforms often cater to downloadable digital products with interactive elements. 😃

There are other ways of making a pdf file fillable. You can use Acrobat or you can design everything in Indesign and make it fillable from there. Bulk method , not that I know of. Since you have to decide which elements are going to be fillable, you have to do it per page. :) I could be wrong. There may be some applications that can detect text boxes or checkboxes already that I don't know yet. :) Please let me know if you found one. :)

I did all this and it partially worked. If I open the download in my web browser, I can type in it and see the text. However, if I open it from the downloads folder on my computer (using either Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader), when I click in the text boxes and type, the cursor moves but no text appears. It is almost as if the text is typing in white font, but I don't think that's actually what is happening. Any ideas why I can't see what I type when I'm using the file on my actual computer rather than the web browser?

You have to do it per page. It doesn't carry on to the other pages. :)

Hi!! Understanding that you want to flatten elements in Canva while keeping the fillable part intact can be tricky. Unfortunately, Canva doesn't have a direct 'flatten' option like some other design software. However, here are a few workarounds you might find helpful: Grouping elements: Combining the elements you want to flatten into a group can help lock them together. Creating a background: Placing a solid color or image behind the elements you want to flatten can give the appearance of flattening. Duplicating the page: If you're comfortable with it, you can duplicate the page, flatten one version, and keep the other editable.

Question- Does this site host/provide a direct URL to the fillable you created? I’m not sure how that works at all. I’m changing my salon booking software and their forms are the only feature I found to be severely lacking. But they do have the option of pasting a URL that will be embedded in an appointment confirmation email that also serves as a form-fill prompt…like I said this is not my forté at all and first thought I had is that I’m probably going to have to use a form site to host my forms which means there’s probably monthly fees in there somewhere😅 I’m lost. If you can help, that’s great. Or if someone has done this before and could possibly point me in the right direction? This video itself was incredibly helpful as well- thanks jet!

Hi, I have a question. I followed your video instructions step by step. I like to be able to send the form to my customers to fill-out. It works when I download it to my desktop. BUT, when I send I emailed it out the person that I emailed it to cannot fill out he form way?

Thank you too and you're welcome. What program did that person use? It should be a program that can open PDF files. But even Preview (mac) should be okay (as you can see in the video). This would be a stupid question but did you save the fillable file or maybe you sent the wrong file? 😉
