I don't have any squishies but you can do the same procedures only with squishes rather than candies. The measurements will be based on your squishes and same with the bigger coins you'll use.

+Lujean Cabezon Milk boxes aren't that strong and hard but if you're making it using those, it'll be fine I guess. If you use those kind of cardboard, you'll need at least three of them.

The machine doesn't work because the 'ramp' is being blocked. But when you insert a coin, it goes to the pannel down to the 'ramp'. It raises the 'ramp' that makes it avoid the block. Now, you can push the lever and get your candy. (I'm planning to make a video explaining the mechanism VERY clearly but it's really hard to do it because I'm still working with my English :P )
