The cart is not heavy enough then. add a few large metal washers to add weight. glued them to the bottom

It looks like they used cardboard, scissors and ruler to cut the cardboard, wire, pliers, hot glue, gorrilla glue, plastic straws, craft paper (same color as the cardboard), wooden skewers, string.
