Would you recommend a paint sealer to make sure it doesn’t chip. Also could you add expanding foam to the inside to make it a bit stronger?

That's something you might need to tell me 😂 But here is my opinion. I think paint sealer is not necessary for my sword does still look 95% the same. (after all these years) Adding the PVC Tube and creating that cardboard grid makes it stronger then you might think. Adding foam could work, I've never worked with that myself. If you do, let me know 😁
