Sam, do you have any advice to get magnets to stick. Im using Total Elements magnets i tried Glue dots, red tape they are so strong they wont stay shut!!! I made this back pack its soo stinking cute!!!

So darn ADORABLE!! Are these to similar scale for American girl dolls?? My granddaughter would love these!! I'll be going to their house to pet sit while they are camping. I may surprise her with these, left on her dresser.😊 Now, for something for her brother.😁

I made a 1" x 1 3/4" tab, and a horizontal strip to slide it behind, instead of using magnets for the front pocket. If the cardstock was a little thinner, I doubled the thickness. For the main section, the 1" x 2 1/2" tab slides behind the front pocket. I just didn't use tear tape for the middle 1 1/4" at the top of the back of front pocket when attaching to the main part. so tab slips down behind easily enough, but it stays well. I also rounded the corners of the tabs. I also scored the tabs at the lower edge of the cover flaps, and 1/4" away, to allow flex to the tabs a bit to get them in place.
