Should be the exact same as long as you can figure out where to find the bishop you should be able to do it. Unless you have dlc some dlc might be different

great video dude. i have a question. do you know how to make a claim over a duchy? because i see in the war options a claim of some vasal that claim over an entire duchy having no land in that duchy. thanks

Some claims come from your people in your realm you can only make your own claims like the one in the video but if you want a vassal claim those come with events. Thanks for the comment.

There could be multiple reasons if you lost your claim or if your in debt it won't let you
