I use 3 parts of sand with 1 part of regular cement which is normally used in building houses with bricks.

No we do not need to immerse these pots in water.... although you can but not needed..... we have to just place it on a place with a small plant thats it... and when you shower your plant then automatically some water will fall on the pot aswell... and that is more than enough to make the pot harder... Thankyou for watching my video. I hope you have subscribed my channel.. here the temperature is around 30-35 degree celcius. Planters made up of cement and sand can easily set and dry in 24 hours with temperature range from 10°Celcius to 40°celcius. Pots drying in temperature above 40 degree celcius should be kept in shades and should be put in water after complete dry for atleast 6-10 hours. On the other hand if the tamperature is lower than 10° as like in winters.. you can keep your pots in Sun while drying. Thankyou very much 😊🤝

I used cooking oil i put just thin layer of oil, but when i put the first coating ( cement and water ) it doesnt stick in the pot because it was slippery. Please help, what should i do?

I saw another video where a guy had a really large sharp looking nail/screw. Like really large and he manually made a hole. He went really slow. Because I was wondering the same thing like damn this would be cool of it had a hole in the bottom and bam! Now I just need to get what ever large screw looking thing that guy had.

Why do we need to "cure" the pots before using them? And how do you do it?

@@hey_you356 any cement material made needs to cure to improve the strength n durability.. it's done by soaking it in water for 24hrs. If it's to big for a container, then just water it at hourly intervals for 24hrs..let it dry after that and your project will be at maximum strength
