The walls are the cylinder will be about 5mm thick. You would have to heat it continuously for a long period of time for any heat to penitrate, also the cylinder will rated to at least double the pressure of the gas currently inside. So would take heating for hours to raise the pressure inside for it to fail. Plus im not applying heat directly to to the cylinder, my welds are away from the cylinder, so any heat transfer is radiated (there is an air gap) and pretty impossible to pose any risk to the gas inside.

I knew it was going down hill from working on the floor to the traffic Cone then on to the old 200bar pressurised argon bottle jig “note the heat transfer through the highly heat conducting brass regulator that is only 2.3 mm thick 😅 slice an pry your chain link open also then close it in the vice one or 2 tacks will keep it closed ✌🏻

I've worked in boilers where the boiler three down was still on (540°C) to do a quick repair and the one I was in was say 60°C outside temp was far hotter but was safe and got the job done that little bitty welding ain't shit don't worry KZbin comment engineers

Haha ye when I was using my bluebird daily I had a daft wee wheel on it my arms were built like popeye's. Might give one a go alot simpler to make than I thought they would be
