How to make a Charlotte petal for flower wreaths - Easy DIY with Carrie's Wreath Creations

Thank you for watching this video as I show you how to make the "Charlotte" petal for flower style wreaths! This petal is a combination of the "gerbera/daisy" and cone petals does a great job of hiding cut edges!
While I cannot be 100% sure that I am the original creator of this petal, I have not seen it done before and am calling it the Charlotte petal (as of Feb 2023)

A few notes:
- I used poly burlap, but you can use deco mesh or fabric mesh also.
- I used a wood burning tool to cut my 10x10" squares. Make sure you have a square...for example if your mesh is 10.5" wide then you need to cut it at 10.5" long.
- You can find small rubber bands in the hair section at the dollar store. I also got my crafting clips there.
