Hello. This video is amazing. But please can you explain why we need to use 2.5inches -3 inches and above from the bust line to mark out the armhole for size 14 and above
@SewUnique_ng4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching. You need to mark out the armhole higher so you don’t have the armhole area too wide. If you mark it at the regular 2” there might be side boob action showing I hope this helps

I love the idea of this and got so excited making it however I must have gone wrong with my calculations somewhere. I couldn’t fit the waist over my bust. Bust 38” and hip 37”. I’m wondering whether I need to make allowances for that. I loved the video though.
@SewUnique_ng2 жыл бұрын
It’s imperative that you add enough extra or allowance around the waist since it’s not a tight fitted garment. 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️

Thank you so much for this video. It was really detailed. Quick question please. Assuming I want to make and sell based of size charts, how can I determine shoulder to bust point, shoulder/back and shoulder to waist?🙏
@SewUnique_ng4 жыл бұрын
Hi Simi! Thank you so much. So basically you’ll have to figure out a guide and stick with it From my experience, sizes 6-8 have their back at 13.5 inches ish and shoulder to waist at 14.5-15 inches; 10-12 back at 14 and shoulder to waist at 15.5-16 14-16 have their back at 14.5-15 and shoulder to waist at 16.5-17. However these are just estimate and some body types might differ.
