A double video, crafts and auto repair. The combination works well. Thanks D6Spanky, it's good to see you posting a video, I know your super busy.

Great idea and cheaper then the way I went. I went to the sporting good section and picked up a gun cleaning kit, but they can get expensive.

Just what i did, got a cheap 38 cleaning brush, and then used a heavy wire and put a thread on it to sort of match the brass base of the gun rod. Last one I bought a shotgun cleaning rod, cut it in half, and used it as the handle, to get it to a more convenient length. The brushes are available in nylon, brass and stainless steel from the gun shop, and you can even use the wadding loop to get a cloth soaked in solvent through to get the last hard stuff off. The rod thread is a standard, pretty much all of the brushes, in the various calibres, have the same thread on them. Just had to dig out a 3/16IIRC thread nut to cut the thread, though often I just used M5 and it became self locking instead.

That's a great idea - your thinking outside the box and that's where I am most times too - way out there :)

Hey Spanky. How about cutting the handle off and stick it in a drill?
