I’m doing a 400 page planner and I can’t export that many pages out of canva so I’m doing the work around creating several smaller documents then merging with a pdf merger. Can i then upload to PowerPoint or does it need to be directly from canva to PP? If so how can I upload 400 pages to PP from canva? One document at a time? Any help would be appreciated

First of all good job on creating your digital planner. Takes a lot of time, yes? :) And yes, you can create, download and merge them and then just open it on Powerpoint. You can't do 400 in Canva. :)

For resolution, you can aim for 300dpi. For size, it's a digital planner so you can size it to whatever size you want. :)

I have a question, if anyone has an answer... When I export to powerpoint, it shifts my text and messes up my tabs. I've tried locking and grouping and everything else I can think of to make it stop, but I get the same result every time. Does anyone know how to get powerpoint to not mess up the imported planner?

When we export the file as a .pdf, the question is: Can we use it as a digital file and write in it our notew and everything else we want?

Yes. It's a digital planner. Usually you use this with notability or goodnotes or any note-taking apps but you can also just open it on Acrobat Reader or Preview. However, you cannot type on any textboxes since it's not editable. That is different. :)

Thank you. For the tabs, you can just use the square or rectangle shape. 👍 It's in the elements in Canva and in Powerpoint, it's in shape tool (if I remember correctly). 😬

Canva or Powerpoint? Usually, just select all of the ones that you want to group and use Cmd/Ctrl G.

Yes, I don't use Pro. Can you see the PowerPoint icon though? If not, you can click on the icon with 3 dots and you'll see all the others including PP. 😊

Any size will do as it's a digital file and you'll be using it on a digital planner. Users can resize it. But if you like, you can use Letter Size Landscape (11in by 8.5in).

Not sure but when saving try checking the FLATTEN PDF (if you're saving it as PDF).

I was wondering why can't the hyperlinks be made in Canva? I'm thoroughly confused because I see some people complete the whole process in Canva and others use a separate program to create the hyperlinks like powerpoint, google slides etc., but why? Do the hyperlinks created in Canva not work with digital note apps? I've created hyperlinks in Canva for other things and had no problems with it working, but haven't done so with digital planners.

At the time I created this tutorial, Canva can't do it yet. Now, you can link a page within your document already (Canva). I will create a new tutorial on this soon. Thank you. :)

No, you don't have to make the lines fillable as you will be using it on goodnotes or similar apps anyway. Anything that you will use for your digital planner doesn't have to be editable or interactive (aside from the hyperlinks). They can be plain pdfs with hyperlinks. :)

If it's a digital planner that you're creating on Canva, you need to export it to an app that can do hyperlinks easily like PP or Keynote or some other apps. If it's just a printable, no need to export. And yes, you can create a planner in Canva and sell it. :)

You can save it to a note-taking app like Noteshelf or GoodNotes (or whatever note-taking app you might have). You can use it on any tablet that has the ability to write on. :)
