How to Make a DIY Glossy Lip Stain

Hey beautiful! I don’t use the lipgloss base but I do use the Polyisobutene that’s in it for my glosses. One thing I love to do is actually mix in a beaker with a spatula or mixing rod. To help break up the polyisobutene with my oils & waxes. Also to transfer to my packaging tube I use a syringe & pipette. Get a pipette snip the top & bottom, then add it to the tip of the syringe. It goes in like butter. Lol

Love to see more "stain" type lip products! The idea of this makes me think of K-beauty "water tints" or whatever they're calling the gel/serum type of lip colors. From what I (barely) understand, it's basically dye + water + glycerin + film formers, but unlike stuff like Benetint and other really watery tints, the K-beauty ones seem to really stay on! P.s. I really like that you include "if you don't have/subsitutions" notes in your formulas! Sometimes the budget just ain't there but the desire is real XD

If y'all put the gloss bag into a large 60ml syringe and then use the syringe to pump it out of the bag into the gloss tube, it fills much easier than trying to push it out of the bag without a vacuum or pump device.

hey i wanted to know whether sweet almond oil is necessary for any if not all lip balm recipes. ALSO, i have avocado oil, cocoa and shea butter, jojoba oil, argon oil, coconut and olive oil and beeswax and i was wondering should i mix all of it to create my lip balm ? does having this many ingredients in a lip balm is beneficial or maybe its probably not a good idea ?

No, you do not need sweet almond oil for lip balms. You certainly can mix together everything you have to make lip balm, but whether or not you like it and consider it to be "worth it" is going to be up to you. I have a next video idea for you or videos 💗 Can you possibly make DIY Eyeliner in different formulas? Like Cremé, Liquid, Gel, and Pencil? Not many people have made videos about how to make Eyeliners in different formulas recently, every recipe is either outdated or requires makeup you own. Hmmm tkb has a chocolate liquid lip color. U can try that, I bought it, looks just like chocolate 😂 if it's to brown for u and white and or some pink to give it a whole new color. If ur using powder pigments I would suppose u can mix those colors to 🤷🏽‍♀️ but I never tried the powder lol

I was wondering if you had a syringe with a long needle would that possibly help with filling the lip gloss container. Just a thought. I have tried syringes for this sort of thing in the past-I find the syringe gets stained and is so hard to clean that it's much easier to use the bag :) That may not hold true for larger batches, though. Happy making!

Question: When making the Under Eye Gel, you used a syringe to put it in the container, which worked really well....I'm guessing you didn't use that this time because it would stain so badly it wouldn't be able to be used for anything else? Hi Marie, how do you make lip gloss without versa gel? I don't know what's in versa gel. So I don't trust it. After months of frustration, I now use castor oil, Cera Bellina and a few oils to make my lip gloss. But it doesn't stain the way I want it to. I use mica powder as well. Also, I thought that Lake powders were bad and were not recommended for cosmetics? Last, I use disposal syringes to squeeze my mixture into my lip gloss containers.

Humblebee & Me Marie, the only product I made from you was the baking soda deodorant which was an absolute disaster because I didn’t know that I’m allergic to it. At that time we both were ‘green’ in formulation of cosmetics. But still you are on my list and each time you have a video I let it play (usually doing something in the house or exercising, most of KZbin videos go like that for me, like a podcast). Every now and then I hear of an ingredient and I click to see your formula, to see if I have it or heard of it and so on, but here in EU we have sometimes different retail brands. I don’t go on your website because I’m literally not interested in making another persons products, but instead work on my own line. You were one of the first you tubers I knew of when I started to study and I continued to support your Chanel, just because it’s nice to give something if I can, so I create traffic on one of your channels don’t ask me to go to another one specially when I don’t really use the info.
