Hi that's a brilliant idea, thank you. I am going to make some shakers for my baby granddaughter who likes rattles. The bought ones sound all the same. Of course I'll put the pasta or other little bits and pieces inside something safe and then crochet around it so it won't fall out!

Well, there is a real snare and a fake snare in the song. The real snare plays sort of like a marching drum. But the interesting drum is the fake one. It is a bunch of metal pieces that we drop on to a metal plate on the floor. Then it is treated with delay and reverb to tailor the sound.
