I really like this idea, especially because the configuration of the number of rooms along with their size can be very easily changed in a build like this. So kudos to you for not only finding a way to create an inexpensive, easy build but in selecting a build that will remain versatile as well. Thanks for sharing this!

My dollhouse is made out of the same shells, but we added walls and used a different corner shelf for half of it. It's really cool, and mine has 6 rooms. Hey, and by the way, I was a little nervous about telling my friends and family about my dolls, but they actually think it's the coolest thing ever. They love my channel, they watch my videos, and they are really proud of what I've accomplished on it. I often over hear them say things along the lines of "hey guess what? My friend has 1000 subscribers. She's like totally famous." 😂 They spent hours just looking at everything in my dollhouse. And one of my friends (he's a boy) went as 9CatLives #1 fan for Halloween😂. Don't be afraid to tell them. If they aren't supportive, then they don't deserve to be your friend and you should've picked better ones a long time ago. True friends support your hobby, and liking dolls is not weird, it's fun:) (plus pulling everything out of your dollhouse every time friends come over seems like a lot of work😂) Anyways I hope I helped a little:)

I've been wanting to build a dollhouse for a while but after watching your playlist of #DeckOutTheDollhouse I now have some ideas from your videos and I am convinced to make one now!! IKEA sells brackets to hold onto the backside for it to stay sturdy. I bought 2 for each section (so that it's extra sturdy). I didn't want to put more holes in the wall.

-To begin, I want to apologize for the length of this post. It sort of got away from me. I guess I just want people to know there are more adult doll collectors out here than you would ever imagine. -I am a collector of 18 inch dolls. I have mostly AG plus a few Madame Alexander. I have 9 dolls total and a small dollhouse. I don't just collect the dolls, clothes and furniture but also the books, games and anything else I come across that is AG. Many of my things have come to my on the secondary market. One of my best finds is an antique wicker furniture set. There is also a couple of jewelry boxes that look just like dressers. One of them has a mirror attached and the other is hand painted. -Because I live in a small one bedroom apartment, I have to be sure that the things I acquire are those that I really want. -I am so fortunate that I am at a stage in my life that I don't care what others think. In fact, almost everyone that has seen my dolls really like them. The few that just don't get it...I don't really care. I am 65 years young and began this particular collection in 1997 but knew I wanted to collect them when I saw one of the early catalogs in 1985. My first doll was AGoT #8. Her name is Aimee Greyce VanTassel. All her names are from my family. -Please don't ask me to start a page here because I don't have any way to do that.
