How to Make a Dowel Holder That Folds Away.

This dowel holder hangs on the side of a cabinet and has tubes that swivel allowing me to access them easy. When I am done it folds up neatly.

I like it Jack. I might add a spring or counter weight to keep it in the upright position when it isn’t held down so one doesn’t accidentally get poked by a rod or dowel.

That's a terrific idea and another very enjoyable vid. I'm a wee bit nervous though that some of the dowels are at eye-poking height. Could the stop maybe go a little higher? Just a thought. Thanks Jack, stay healthy!

I agree with you; as for me, my fear was to leave the pipe cutouts free on the saw bench; maybe i'm too careful, but i would have cleared the saw table after each cut D'accord avec toi; quant à moi, ma crainte, c'était des laisser libre sur le banc de scie, les découpes de tuyau; peut-être suis-je trop prudent, mais moi j'aurais dégagé le banc de scie après chaque coupe
