This is an awesome step by step tutorial! Thank you. One question, why did you cut the mesh with two different tools? Well I guess two questions. Do you have to cut it with a wood burning tool? Thank you for answering my questions.

You can use either tool to cut the mesh. I like to use the wood burning tool so it’s less messy when I’m making the petals. But this style of petal doesn’t show any edge lines, so it doesn’t matter what tool you use! 😊

Thanks for watching! If you wanted to add lights, I would weave them through and zip tie every once in a while to hold the lights in place.

I used 36 pieces of the purple and 18 blue. You might be able to get the 36 pieces out of one roll of the mesh, but just in case there’s a flaw in that roll or it’s slightly undercut, I’d buy another roll, just to be on the safe side.

@candycooper6275 I used 18 pieces of blue and 36 pieces of the purple. You should get the full 36 pieces out of one roll, but sometimes you may only get 34 or 35. I always buy an extra roll just in case.

I just went back and checked! When I made this video, I didn’t know that Dollar Tree even made 18” wreath forms! But this is definitely a 14” form. The reason I know is because the 14” has 6 sections whereas the 18” has 8 sections. (In fact, I just bought a couple 18” forms today!)
