Made my first ever duct tape wallets today, looking at it you could easily get by with making it only 7" wide about 6" if you dont put card slots on both sides

Also I used a old clear dragon shield sleeve for the ID plastic. Clear card sleeves make great ID plastic because they are designed to fit a card

something with a flat edge could help prevent bubbles. I make books and we use a bone folder for scoring and folding as well as pressing down paper when gluing to prevent bubbles, but any kind of flat edged tool could work in theory. A small ruler could work.

You need to make your outside layer just a 1/4" longer and that will leave some slack for folding room with alot of bills inside!

another thing u could do to prevent your fingers frome sticking to the tape is lick your finger then put it on the yape and wont stick or u can use water..

My second time making a tape wallet as an adult. Pulling out my tape wallet while adulting is probably the biggest power move. I’ll be at the bank putting in money and pulling out my tape wallet 😭 lol

Also side note for anyone using it on the regular I like to add some super glue under some flaps to make it extra secure. Obvi makes it much harder to make but helps keep the small flaps of the pockets from falling
