Nice to find another book crafter. Good information. I have to mention that you said like 4 or 5 times something to the effect that this is just practice and you weren't going to do it exactly right. That is a good thing to show how things go wrong when you cut corners. So it was useful in that sense. But overall...hearing that so many times lowered the vibration of the work you are doing. Made me sad for the book. Everything we put our hands and hearts to deserves our very best. Just passing on that feeling I had while watching. But I think your attention to detail is very good. Thanks and interesting how you got from tarot to bookmaking. There must be a story there.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. It was just a sample cover so I wasn't really putting my heart into it like I do with a book I'm keeping. Book making actually came first, I've been making journals for years, since I was a teenager. But blending them together is a newer adventure. 🙂 Thank you for watching! ❤️

Thank you so much for this. I followed your video to cover my tarot journal with fabric. Came out perfect!

That is fantastic, I am so glad it worked out well for you! I had to do a few covers before I got decent at wrapping the fabric correctly. 🙂 Thank you for watching! ❤️

I loved this! I was glued to the video from start to finish! Talking of glue, did you use the same glue for the paper as you did the fabric? :)
@DawnMichelleTarot5 жыл бұрын
That I did, I use the Fabri-tac for just about everything. It works great for paper and fabric. 🙂 Thank you for watching! ❤️

Love the video. But just wondering why you didn't glue the fabric on the front of the book
@DawnMichelleTarot4 жыл бұрын
It's my understanding that glueing the entire length of fabric down reduces it's flexibility for the constant opening and closing of the book. I have seen people glue it down with white glue, but I use Fabri-tac which would seep through. I think it's just a matter of preference. 🙂 Thank you for watching! ❤️

That fabric makes me swoon....i adore B and B. My favorite Disney story. Thank you for this tute. Very well done. Also i need to use some duct tape on a couple of my covers as they are very weak. I was wondering if it was ok to use duct tape. Also could i use fabric for the inside also?
@DawnMichelleTarot4 жыл бұрын
I use duct tape all the time on my journals, helps give them some stability. I believe I have seen people use fabric for the inside as well, it looks cool, especially if you want a ragged edge on it. 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️
