How to Make a Faux Crystal Ball | Dollar Tree DIY | Halloween 2021

Look into my crystal ball and I will tell you your future…
In today’s video we will be making a high end looking crystal ball from Dollar Tree supplies! Taking a visit down the party aisle in Dollar Tree gave me the perfect base/stand for this DIY crystal ball. I decided to pair a fancy plastic bowl with a DIY snowglobe and even creating my own colored fairy lights to create this fortune teller’s assistant!

▪︎ 5 inch plastic DIY snowglobe (any craft store)
▪︎ pack of fancy plastic party bowls (Dollar Tree)
▪︎ fairy/string lights
▪︎ silver glitter mesh/tulle (Joann Fabrics)
▪︎ forged hammered spray paint (color used in video: Antique Pewter by Rust-Oleum)
▪︎ black paint (acrylic or chalk)
▪︎ craft drill/Dremel (Drill Master used in video: www.harborfreight.com/07-amp-...)

its often easier to melt a hole in plastic.. hold anail over a candle until its hot (use pliers) and melt your hole

I have been looking for inspo on how to do a faux crystal ball and yours is by far my favorite. It looks high end and I'm pretty sure I already have all of the materials needed. BTW, great hack for changing up the twinkle light colors!!! Thanks a bunch for sharing.
