How to make a festive Sponge Cake

Mix 1 lb. of sugar , 1 lb. of butter
Add 12 eggs
Add 1 tsp grated w
Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract
Add 1 lb. of flour
Add 1 tbsp baking powder
Sift flour and baking powder in the batter
Mix all ingredients well
In a small bowl with some batter add green food colouring, repeat the process with red food colouring and one with cocoa powder
In a greased baking dish add batter and the cake mixture of green and red colours
In another baking dish add the cocoa powder mixture and some of the regular mixture
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
