You have to choose the addon that splits them in addons. Lists are still in normal Scratch too, just under variables.

Did you make sure that the backdrop names follow the formula of “night#” and the code joins them properly? A few things that could happen: -There’s a space after “night” in the join block -The join block capitalizes the word “night” while the backdrop name doesn’t (or vice versa) -Night# was never set to 1 (if it remains at 0 you won’t get the backdrop) There’s some other reasons that could happen, but these are some common mistakes if it helps at all.

Yes they do. Leave them empty and they act as a forever loop.

My character location is on the office door when its at 14 I close the door it then never changes from 14 So when I open my door its still in the same place which ultimately gets me to jumpscare it doesn't make the character go back to 5 Any idea how to fix this? The code is the same format as when beanchick goes to the door if 14 Then door close switch to 5 if else 100 (jumpscare) on the meantime this tutorials really brought my project to life camera and lights/doors works, just not the character jumpscare part

I’m very upset bc I been working on this for so long and for whatever reason I can’t find, my right door buttons just don’t work which is weird bc the left door works fine and I copied and paste it and made sure to change all variables to rightDoorState and still the right door doesn’t close and the light doesn’t turn on just nothing I double checked the codes and everything still nothing. He’s using an addon that makes a separate tab for them, but they are in Variables normally. Underneath all of the variables but above custom blocks, there should be a “Make a List” button. Once you make list, the list options will show up, the same as variables. Normally you start with a variable so you don’t see it but it also goes empty if you have none. For him there’s a separate “Lists” header text for them but they are there.
