Lisa I love your style and the wonderful generosity you show with sharing your skills and designs. I am not sure now anyone else gets their forceps but many of the larger hospitals have surgical packs with disposable items that just get tossed out after the procedures including unused forceps and scissors. It might be worth some of our fellow crafters asking if they are having trouble sourcing these items. I have a box of forceps in a variety of sizes and shapes that are so useful in a myriad of different arenas of my sewing room.

You have such an amazing talent, Lisa. I am getting the bits and bobs together to make the fox, then hopefully the others in the collection. Watching your videos is better than any film, I learn so much and you inspire me to pay more attention to detail. Whilst I have 6 granddaughters, I think I'll keep these lovely dolls for myself!! Thank you.

I love how you acknowledge that children have the tendency to "love" their soft toys to pieces sometimes and account for that in your designs. My favourite childhood toy, I straight up ate his snout. His face is now a hole. I ate the plush fibers out of his fabric and then I ate into the underbacking. Children are weird sometimes 😂

Hi Lisa, watching Kitty being made and loving her happy smile. Can you tell me what a wool needle could also be known as, as I couldn’t locate one in Spotlight on my first visit since April! No one could help me either. I can see what you have but those sets for needle punch are not what I believe was the right item. I will Google too. I ordered and received my forceps. Easy order and very very reasonable too. Thank you for your help on that. All the best from Francien and Louis my Griffon Bruxellious (hint hint!!!)
@payitforward94424 жыл бұрын
Hi Francine! Great to hear from you, The wool felting needles are available online , try Ebay that’s where I get mine. The forceps will change your life!😂😂 I cant Believe you are lucky enough to have a Griffon! The best face ever! Such a wonderful breed, I have made realistic versions of them in mohair a few years back, one of my favourite series so far! Stay safe and well 🥰🤗

Hi Lisa. I have watched many of your tutorials and love them all. Your instruction is always so concise and clear I've never had questions. Today I do. It's just a small thing but I wouldn't want to try it without asking first. In your Fox tutorial ...your ears are 4 cut pieces that are then fused together. Could you Bond the two colors BEFORE you cut the pattern piece out?
@payitforward94423 жыл бұрын
Hi Beckie! Yes, that’s exactly how I do it! It uses a little more Fusible web, so I’m careful about suggesting it, however it it’s the best way in my humble opinion, great minds think alike!😜 Enjoy your little Fox!🥰🤗

Lisa I was going really well with the fox doll until I was putting in the arms but I just couldn’t get it right so I attempted to insert them another method. Which went badly of course and being the person I am I am not at all happy with the result. But I had cut the centre triangle or step of a staircase off. Oops 🙊! I looked and looked how you fitted the arms in but I couldn’t see it clearly. It doesn’t look like a bag bottom at all. Too tight. Hope you can help me Lisa. 🙏🦊🪡🧵🙏
@payitforward94423 жыл бұрын
Hi Francien, I think your problem her might be your seam allowance, it is important to keep it to the stated 4mm throughout otherwise your corresponding pieces will not fit. It is a little difficult for me to really help without a photo?🥰
