Thanks, excited to try this. I'd like to know: if I wanted even more gathering on the front, would I need more than 3 slash lines? And how would I read them?

Yes, for added fullness you can have more slash lines. I’m not sure what you mean by reading them…

Thank you 😊. I used a leftover medium weight crepe. You could also use a thick jersey fabric.

Do you use those same measurements on a life-size pattern?

No I don’t. For a life-size pattern I would either double the measurement so 2cm becomes 4cm. Please note that this does not work in all cases, it depends on the style. So in those cases I would determine the exact placement I want on my body and take the relevant measurements to achieve my goal.

Hi, thanks for watching 😊.. In this video I have given you all the steps you need to create the skirt in a full scale block you just need to apply the steps and experiment with your own measurements. That’s how we gain confidence in drafting patterns. I hope this helps.
