1ST OF ALL LADY THE SAME LOOK CAN BE ACHIEVED BY AFRO-AMERICAN WOMEN BY SIMPLY USING A HOT COMB! ARE YOU DRUNK? ALSO DO WE TELL CAUCASIAN WOMEN THAT IT ISN'T A NATURAL LOOK WHEN THEY PERM THEIR HAIR? UGH NO! LIKE THE LADY COMMENTED, THIS LOOKS NATURAL & NO ONE WOULD INSTANTLY KNOW IT'S A WIG! BACK WHEN I RELAXED MY HAIR IT LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE THIS & MY HAIR IS NATURALLY CURLY! SOME BLACK WOMAN CAN GET THIS LOOK BY ONLY USING A BLOW DRYER & A BRUSH!

More expensive human hair gives it a softer more bouncier look... I love this technique. I'm going to start making my own wigs... I have never seen it done with a glue gun... ingenious!!! Thank you for sharing with us beautiful!!

Looks beautiful. I used to make these for people back when I was in hair school. They look better than some of the $500 + wigs out there. See what you can do when you put your creativity to work. Good job girl!

oh yeah, they make them in all different colors...they are a bit more expensive than the regular glue stick, but I could see where it would come in handy in certain circumstances--so the (small) extra cost wouldn't be much of a factor.

Your video just inspired me so much! I am allergic to latex so, no hair can touch my skin. Even on a double cap, yes I'm very sensitive. But, where I purchase my hair the lady does make wigs. I'm a nail tech & have been doing hair as a side hustle since I was 9. Why would I pay her for something my G-mom taught me as a kid. Thank you for helping me to take this to another level. BTW: Your Good Girl!!!!! Lmbo

If you want a wig that lasts, I recommend you sew it, like I do. My wig lasted 6 months. It was still in pretty good condition when I tossed it out. I normally washed and conditioned it once a month. I flat ironed it and curled it at times as well.

I've been cutting my own hair my whole life. I have always steered clear of bangs because i am a perfectionist. I could NEVER seem to cut them correctly! I stopped trying all the KZbin vids. When your hot glue wig video popped up i just had to click on this crazy sounding glue gun project. I didn't even realize it also said the "Best way to cut bangs". Who knew after ALL these years that a SIMPLY TWIST IS THE ANSWER FOR *PERFECT* BANGS!!

Love the video!....the wig looks great...I had my first sew-in done this past summer, it was on of those franchised Weave Shops...it wasn't the best experience...the stylist pulled the thread too tight...I had bumps around my edges, the color wasn't right for me, there was a lady sitting waiting to have her hair done who was completely bald around the edges...another customer was complaining that her natural hair was cut during the take down...enough of that,I'm learning to do my own weaves/wigs

How far apart do you glue the tracks? Does it matter how much I put into the tracks. Since I've never done it before would really cheap be a good idea to practice before upgrading the hair? I already have long hair can't find a wig to go over it and need to make one. So please help by telling me how far apart to glue the tracks. Thanks in advance, you've done a great job on this wig. As old as this video is I HAVE to comment and leave a bit of "wooo!" On this video because it is still in the present. I have no imagination when it comes to wig/weave work....I am a girl who grows some thick but baby fine hair and sometimes I need a change. I don't prefer to buy wigs but never really had a choice since I had no idea I could do anything myself. Also, my daughters do a lot of cosplay and are always buying pieces for different characters only to wear them a couple of times and be done. Making them ourselves seems to be a more viable and fun thing to do. Not to mention the quality you can choose for yourself and make it special and customized. Which is important as sometimes you just can't find that perfect piece you know? Thank you so much for this tutorial! Short, sweet and spectacular!😀💙
