@@Alli_Dutchie figured what better way to test my skills than on tiny heads. Not as much foam needed but they love em so far. Just got done with the duct tape pattern, just waitin to get fur/fabric. Still tryna figure out how to do feet and wings but heads and tails r onto the fabric stage.

@momothegamer6375 if your trying to figure out the feet amd wings I recommend Neffertity here on KZbin, flr the wings it depends as she onky has one tutorial up but for the feet, she has a tutorial for digi feet. Or MugiwaraCosplays, may be helpful :)

Hey, Skye! You may not see this comment, but just letting you know, you’re the absolute BEST furry KZbinr I have EVER saw in my entire life. I’m a young furry, and I decided I wanted to make my FIRST ever fursuit head. I was nervous I would ruin all my $55 dollar upholstery foam, what if I bought it for nothing? I was scared, but after watching the very first minute of the video, I thought “everything will be okay, this maker is absolutely PROFESSIONAL at this. As long as I follow every thing she did, I can do it.” And I did! My first ever suit is uh.. MUCH better than Dorito mooman, or however you spell it- sorry, Skye- I HAD to roast dorito mooman. 😈 Anyways, thanks for the tut! It is absolutely amazing!! Patterning was a huge struggle for me, first attempt i made a lot of mistakes and i totally didnt clean up anything lol. luckily its a protogen head so i have lots of fur leftover to redo it properly now

Most likely! It takes a bit of practice, my first one (I’ve always used her tutorials) was very… not good- my second one (never finished it) looked good! My first one only looked bad because I rushed it and butchered the tutorial completely thinking it’d be fine, and it definitely wasn’t- TLDR: most likely yes, it takes practice so if it doesn’t look good the first time that’s okay! :]

About the pin on the ears yeah make sure to remove them before trying the head because it happened to me that when I fur the head and putted my hand inside I found clips still inside undre all fur and all luckily I managed to get them out-

I'd recommend hand sewing over machine sewing for fursuit heads. It does take quiet a bit longer, but is just as good. A blanket stitch will be your best friend.

No, 1 inch foam is fine, and will help make the head not so large and bulky. As long as you use 1cm/half inch foam for the bucket base you're all good.

some people also use half inch foam for the head because it's less bulky and the size of the head is a bit smaller, but half inch or one inch for the head base is what's used and then use whatever you want for the rest

No, sewing is the best way. I find hand sewing everything on a fursuit head is easier than machine sewing though. Blanket stitch is the best for this.
