This is extremely helpful and informative. I'm still making the art for my graphic novel. and I was just making the story up as I go along. (Which is probably not a very good idea.) So now this helps me to really think about all of the characters and the story a bit more.

The concept for Sleepover sounds like a winner and the illustrations look authentic so that they carry the emotions convincingly. First of all, Thank you for making this video! I’ve always wanted to write and publish something. For the past couple of months I’ve had this idea for a mini series but I didn’t know how to pitch one or if I’d have to buy a book to learn. Thank you very much for so much insights, I’m in the process of writing my first pitch and your video is very helpful, I have just one question about the synopsis, the story for which I’m doing the pitch has 4 arcs, do you recommend writing a synopsis for the first arc or the whole story ?

Glad it was helpful! I'd say write a full outline of the first book, and then a much smaller one for the others. A lot will change over time, but you need a clear visions for that first book. Good luck!

Really depends on the publisher. Around 200 pages seem pretty standard.

Hi! Thanks for being here! That’s a good question. I don’t see why you couldn’t, but I honestly don’t know what all of the logistics of it would be. Best thing to do would probably be to try and get a literary agent to help navigate those waters.
