No part 5? Did you ever finish this? Would love to see the finished project. Seriously thinking about doing the braiding myself on my current hose. It's a solid hose that's held up for over a year, but the wraps they do always fall to pieces. I basically mimicked it and tho it's help up longer, it doesn't look as professional.

How do you connect the hose to the Delrin mouthpiece to make it secured and sealed ?

That's a weird lathe lol, why don't you just 3 jaw chuck? also for 4 jaw chuck you should really indicate it properly.
