This is very helpful but I struggle with putting a hanger on a straw wreath before I complete it. Do you have suggestions for that? I prefer hangers that aren't too visible from the front. When I can I'll put a ribbon at the top but I don't always want it to show. Any ideas would be a big help. Thank you♥

I wish I would have known about this before I made my wreath. Putting the rustic wire on before the wreath is decorated would be the simplest, lol. I will have to try to finagle the rustic wire between the leaves on my wreath. Either that, or I will figure something else out. Securing a loop of twine to the back of the wreath would be another possibility.

This is a grapevine wreath. I do that on foam bases.

What if the wreath was given to me as a gift and is all fabric? I believe over styrofoam. She gave me 2 neither has a hanger. The type you are showing won't work unfortunately

Buy 30 or larger gal clear garbage bags put a finger hole in the bottom. Have a pipe cleaner wire placed opposite end from bow or fullest part of your wreath. Pull pipe cleaner through bag and hang. This way no weight is put on the bow or design . Can leave open or bring ends together and loosely tie. I hang mine from basement rafters!
