How to make a HAUNTED HOUSE in Minecraft! I'm proud of this haunted house or wooden mansion depending on how you see it!
It's a bit bigger than normal but the results are great! Hope you like it and sorry its so late - hope everyone has a nice halloween!

Update for anyone watching for the 1.17 or later version: walls and iron fences connect so you do t get the disjointed pointy effect on the roof. However end rods work nicely in place of iron bars. Plus it gives a ghostly glow to the roof and had the bonus of lighting up the roof so mobs don’t spawn up there. Hope this helps! Edit: Tinted Glass also looks really cool in the dormers as it makes the glass look like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while

I built it today in my survival realm, i just changed the spruce for dark oak, and dark oak for netherbricks. Look very cool, even more haunted with that block combo. Thanks for this man.

also there's windows on the side where the chimney is so is there just a chimney in the attic? it might have been better to place it on the opposite side of the build since the other wall is just windows and you could replace some of those windows with the chimney

Wool markers. Definitely a good idea for working out spacing between windows before building them. Especially if you have to build each one by hand! Love the cauldron and anvil technique!

I built this mansion on a survival free build server. Thanks to 1.13 update we have darkoak trapdoors. I changed the top iron fence to be dark oak fences cause this is just too expensive. It still looks very good

Fantastic! I built it, decided I wanted it to function as a real building, so I set up the interior. I ended up with four floors which required a little tweaking. It still looks great. I brought the chimney all the way to the ground, and allowed me to have multiple fireplaces.

If you're on a budget, use hoppers instead of anvils, works just as well imo. Especially from a bottom up view

This mansion has such a big history. Built, rebuilt, auctioned, split, rebuilt in halves, sold, half of it rebuilt again, one of the halves switched sides, the other got a weird expansion and called "chateau". Just, so much lol

So, I get that this is Disneyland's Haunted House in Paris, I've been there. although, I believe It's too clean, allbeit dark. Once, a known architect told me "When you plan something, make it feel like what should BE" (It was in french sorry for the approximate translation). In this case, haunted. I think the mansion should be a little chaotic, a little decayed maybe. It might not have been the point of the video, this is just food for thoughts by the way. I believe your point about spaceing things should not apply to this mansion, if it's indeed haunted, ghosts, if not the rooms themselves, should be clashing, taking the space of one another. Moreover, a Haunted mansion should be spooky, scary (skeleton?) right? Well then I think it would be better if it was a little more oppressing. It's already quite tall, which is a brilliant start, but maybe if the patios and windows maybe, were a little more overwhelming, it would mae it even more of a piece of art, something magnificient, that make people feel like they're being watched by ghosts, not by adding any organics, but by the shape of the Mansion itself. Sorry for that long message, thank you for reading, if you did.

Honestly, It would be really cool if he transformed an existing mob farm design to make it look good. Like an Iron Golem farm that actually looks like a decent building would be cool. He would need permission from the farm creator though and there are SOOOO many farms it would be hard to choose which ones to do and if he doesn't have a good understanding of how they work, he could break them.
