I was wondering, why do you subtract the waistband (4 inches) from the length? Doesn't the band just sit at the waist and if you take it off the length the skirt will be too short? I've never does this kind of a skirt before, so could you explain that to me? Thanks

Helen Tosin It’s difficult to amend an override neckline, try and hold it a little bit by the shoulder. Sew about 1/2 or 1 inch by the shoulder.
