I had this question in my mind - if a centipede horse breaks a leg, does it still need to be shot the way that regular horses with their terrible bones do? And then I realized that I was being foolish and that no mortal weapon could ever slay this creature.

My theory is that this is a baby horse centipede, and adults actually have hundreds of legs , and they grow as they age. If one were to hypothetically, impossibly hurt it's legs, there would be hundreds more to support it
@StraveTube2 жыл бұрын
I assumed that each broken leg would just grow another horse, like a hydra.
@DannyDevitoOffical-TrustMeBro2 жыл бұрын
I’d like to imagine that, since normal horses aren’t shot when their legs break anymore, every time the horse centipede breaks a leg or two, it simply sheds the leg and grows it back fast instead of going through all that pesky time for healing.

There was a dnd campaign I was in with some friends in my scout troop, and we actually had something similar to this in game. It was a really long horse. Like 40 ft, but instead of having a bunch of legs, it had just 4 like a regular horse. We decided that when it slept, it could coil its body up like a snake. Just try and visualize it, and you will probably laugh

i am really confused as an art major who had to study horse anatomy at some point. so if it can coil like snake, it means normal horse ribcage- ok maybe this horse is not only relying on oxygen and lung capacity but on sweet sweet magic BUT DAMN THESE FOR LEGS MUST HAVE BEEN FUCKING STRONG TO SUPPORT AND BALANCE ALL THIS WEIGHT; AND LETS NOT TALK ABOUT THIS ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE OF A GRAVITY FIGHTING HERO OF A BACKBONE.
