hi Mr Web. I would love your help. I have watched so many of your videos and honestly, they are fantastic. So clear and helpful. I am looking for a booking plugin that will cater for student accommodation that and facilitate bookings based on gender. The rule is I can only have either all female or all male students booked into a twin room in a residence. Iv looked at dozens of plugins and their documentation and found nothing. I would be really grateful for your opinion, Many thanks for your help. (P.S I can hear the Irish accent coming through :)

I don't know of any ready-made solution for this... But you can use Crocoblock to build such website from "scratch". Either JetBooking on its own or combined with JetEngine to create all the available rooms and assign the rooms with each booking based on the criterias you set. @@louiselangton3929 It's actually super easy to implement. Create a custom post type ROOM. For your room create all your custom fields including one of them being GENDER as a 'radio button. When creating the 'find an accommodation' filter use your meta field %META::_gender% and then only display rooms that match that gender. They can then book any room they want from the listing since they'll all be for the selected gender

@Mr_Web yes thank you. The issue I'm having is that the rooms are not predefined by gender. Student A (female) makes the first booking, 1 bed in a dorm. This should now be a female only dorm for all other bed bookings for that date. I contacted the tech team. They don't cover this unfortunately. Its a very specific rule. If I had predefined gender room allocations it would be alot easier. Many thanks for you help. Much appreciated 🙂

Yeah I don't like it either... But the renewal is only to access the latest updates so technically it will still work even if you don't renew
