Is there a way you can show it from the top while you're building it?
@LisaVogtglassartist Жыл бұрын
Yes and I have been getting a lot of feedback about that, which I appreciate! Some of these videos I film on my own with a tripod which is why the frame stays like that. On a lot of my vlogs I have my daughter, Niki, helping me and she gets those great in depth shots. I'll have her help me more often so I can get more of those close up shots!

What about clear frit to fill in the holes?
@LisaVogtglassartist Жыл бұрын
You could do that, I like the look with the holes which is why I kept it. :)

Do we need to keep to two layers?

Nope, I just did for fun :)

Do the scraps need to be full fused before I use them like you show? You said you were doing a tack fuse? A bit confused
@LisaVogtglassartist Жыл бұрын
To make the pieces I cut strips of color and fused them at a full fuse. Then to make the bowl I just tack fused all the pieces together then slumped it over a bowl mold. If I did a full fuse to make the initial bowl before slumping, I would have lost the "jelly bean" shape of the pieces. I hope this makes sense!
