Hi! I am making a kite but haven’t yet decided which fabric to use. I had first thought of using organza silk but the tissue paper came to mind and then I just heard about Parchment paper. Greetings from wet Brussels, Belgium.

Swapping the wood for bamboo might make it stronger. Then use heavy duty plastic and double the scale and you’ll have a monster!

Where did you find/get Chinese paper like that and where did you get the wooden sticks? The only size I can find without spending a fortune is 12” which isn’t long enough….

Yes, it must be slightly curved. This will not fly high, the weight of the sticks isn't balanced too, once it will reach 20 feet it'l dive.
